Sitting quietly atop a Eight story building was Cpt. MacFergeth, just quietly watching the streets below him, close to no activity currently, this was a good and bad thing, Over the entire day, the city had come to life with explosions and gunfire, it showed that there were still some people left, he had reported it in, but he wouldn't move from his position much, it was a good point, he could see down several streets, and had a good view of the areas around him.
His Small sack was sitting off to the side, his rifle resting against the wall. He was currently setting up the night-vision headset that he brought, it was what would keep him safe, it is what had kept him alive in three occasions over the past two days going to different buildings. He had the feeling he would need to use them again soon, this Gilly suit only kept him safe for the most part around the grassy areas, now he was in the city and had to keep his eyes out, though his suit was somewhat thicker, it didn't give him that good of protection against the undead that could easily rip through flesh.
He had three full clips of M21 Ammo left, and eight more rounds in another clip, giving him a total of 68 rounds for it. For his 9mm, he had Five clips left with one more of six rounds, giving him a total of 81 rounds for it.
He looked down at the ground off of the side, being able to see a few undead walking around, nothing like before though, they were all crowding to the noise of an explosion before, the street seemed like it was alive at that point. He was just happy he was up here, not down there with them, he would have died already if he didn't stay on rooftops most of the time.

He moved away from the roof, putting the Headset on with the goggles flipped up, they wouldn't be needed just yet, it was getting darker, but it was still just a bit longer before it would be time to use them. He looked over to his rifle, it would be fine where it was, there was nothing up here that could touch him. He moved over to the door, his right hand resting on his pistol, unholstering it and pointing it as he put his left hand on the nob, slowly turning it and pulling the door back slightly, looking down into the pitch black area beneath.
This would be his route out of there, The fire escape was much too noisy, he would be noticed and have a bigger crisis on his hands than if he went down through the building. He would move towards a different building, It seemed that there was more activity to the west than there was here. He hoped he would be able to make it a decent distance tonight. He moved away from the door , holding his pistol at his side in case a runner flew out of there, moving back over to his items, ready for it.

At last he finally got his headset put on and had the goggles flipped up, moving back and getting what supplies he brought and his rifle, slinging it over his shoulder before pulling out his trusty pistol. He moved to the opening, taking a few steps in before flipping down the goggles and turning them on, everything was bright for a moment before it started to show the area in a bright green, the stairs went down a little ways.
