I love christmas... I just wanted to start with that statment. I lvoe beign able to have my friends around and gift shopping ( or more likely making this tyear) can be tons of fun.
but the way retailers are shoving it cdown our throat so early is kind of taking the joy out of it . Any one else feel tah way ???
(if you don't do christmas sub in whatever winter holiday you do celebrate.)

I like the Christmas season, even though I celebrate Yule.
But it was kind of ridiculous; my roommate and I left town to go to a Halloween party, and when we came back November 2, the stores already had Christmas stuff. That's just WAY too early.

I guess, but if you're really into giving gifts, the earlier you start shopping the better,
but everything is too commercialized now, the gifts shouldn't be the only things that matter!

I work at home depot and we got our live trees in yesterday and by thisafternoon when i had left we had sold 8. it's crazy!!
i'm jsut glad it finally got cold and snowed, it was like spring here last christmas. at least if it snows i can call off of work razz
