I come to you today, not a a candidate for President of Kapow, but as a guy in search o' JUSTICE. There's been a lot of stuff gettin' flung back and forth lately, and malicious ads and stuff, not ta mention all the drama with the Avenger's house gettin' blown up. I think even Brainy and Tony got into it at some point. The thing is, we as a guild can get along, and get along well. It's happened before, and it can happen again.

It was established in the registration that this election is to be President, but that the title is pretty much just that. That it isn't really for anything. I disagree; obviously if a person is elected President, then obviously that is something that brought the people together in a form of unity and that is never fake. Of course, the President doesn't outrank Linda Lee Danvers, the actual owner of the Guild. But obviously the President would work with Linda to make the Guild a better place.

I can see the questions though... why Tad? Well, why not? Obviously, I haven't gotten along with everyone in the Guild in the past, so why even bother? See, that's the wrong way to look at things. Obviously, I've always had the Guild's best interests at heart. Whether it was trying to help Brainy get a girlfriend, or helping Wally make the best Guild he could, or solving the big crimes that seem to rock the Nexus once a year, I've always been there to lend a hand. So even though I'm not the obvious choice (well, to everyone else) to be elected, I am totally the best fit.

Now, I have heard that this election is supposedly "cancelled"; I believe this is just a rumor. A rumor that is being perpetrated by my not-so-esteemed opponents because they think that they will lose otherwise. I mean, cancelling the election the exact same day of the deadline for the candidates? Only dummy would believe that. And I ain't no dummy.

So in conclusion, when it's time to actually vote, make sure that you vote for me. My name is Tad Ryerstad, and I totally approve this message.
