So with Thanksgiving short on it's way what do we think about?
Food....
No school! =D
*sigh* Family
Yay Family!
And many other things like that,
But what is the real meaning or point of Thanksgiving?
I believe it's a great opportunity seize. In other sermons it has been mentioned that talking to God is important. Being thankful on Thanksgiving is a great way to start.
Look around you and at the world. Yeah there's a lot of bad junk, but look closer at the smaller simpler things.

Look above! Some of the simplest things God has given us, aren't given to others. Why not others? Because God has a special awesome plan for them. If you don't have something above, God doesn't hate you! He loves you and can relate to your pain! He is going to take that bad and make something great out of it.
For the others of you who have most of what's on the list, praise God for them! There are people who don't have homes or education. There are people who are sick. There are people who hate some of the things above that aren't worth hating! Like family members. On Thursday we should do our best to love our family like we should everyday because some people have lost their family members so you should love them when there's still time left!
Psalm 136:1-3 say,"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love is eternal. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love is eternal. Give thanks to The Lord of lords. His love is eternal."
You can never say you don't have anything to be thankful for. You have God's eternal love!
Praise God! It's a great way to start talking to Him. Thank Him for your family or His love!
Think about these things:
1. What are things you are thankful for? Write down a list, if you want, and praise God!
2. What are ways you can show you're thankful for things in your daily life?
