Along the cliff wall, were you to follow it away from the cove a ways, you would come across a little indentation in the otherwise sheer cliff face. And in this indentation is a fairly straight mulberry tree, it’s branches brushing along the sides of the indentation, as if the cliff has wrapped itself around the little berry-bearing tree to protect it.

Were you then to climb this tree, to a height of about 20 or 30 feet, and happen to climb out to the end of a branch that looks like a thick braid, then part the leaves, you may be surprised to find a tall, narrow crack in the wall of the cliff face.

The “hallway” runs about 3 feet in before it curves to the left, back toward the cove. After another 3 feet, the entranceway opens into a much larger cavern, one with a high ceiling, and ample space for several elves to lay down. Along the deepest edges of the cave it’s dark, very dark, so it’s hard to tell if there are any other openings into other cavernous rooms.

The bulk of the room has been swept and is partially covered with grass mats, nothing too fancy just yet. Along the part of the cave wall are various bundles and mats and baskets, one with some orange fur and what appears to be some sort of thread-forming spindle. Also near the entranceway is a small hole in the wall that holds the cocoons of several sleeping silkworms.

Along a different wall in the cave is a small fire-pit and a small pile of damp branches and bits of wood. It is obvious that the warm, dry area immediately around the pile of lazy ash and coals is a favorite for those that dwell, at least temporarily, in this cave.

Into the afternoon, the storm picked back up and while the winds suddenly came from teh opposite direction they were far less severe than they are been not so long ago.

Savith had flown up to do a quick survey of the area, watching Blaze and Dancer disappear into the treeline. By the time the storm wall approached the cove once more, the two were out of sending range for him. He flew back into the cave, a worried frown on his features. He almost touched down on the ledge that was the 'front porch' of the cave, before he pulled himself up short, keeping his busted ankle from feeling any weight. He bit his lower lip slightly, turning to look back out into the forest as the first of the fat, wet, warm drops of tropical rain begin to pelt the stone about him. He glanced over his shoulder once, at the rest of the gathered. To leave them to find the pair, or to stay and pray they are safe. The uncertainty played in his moss-colored eyes as he again turned to look out into the area. The knowledge that they were most likely together, and that there was safety in numbers kept him from flying out immediately. After all, there was no one else to keep up with him, and that would put him out there against the winds alone. His mind played out the options as he watched the clouds march steadily closer.

Llune
Crew

Sleepily, Llune wandered to the opening of the cave and stood beside her son, wrapping an arm affectionately about his waist. She had spent the better part of the day - once she had woken up, that is - tidying up the cave and gathering bits of wood and logs so that they'd dry out and could be used for burning.

Although she had, up until the clouds returned, thought the storm was over, this was her home, so Llune thought it best to continue making it ready for living in. The fire-pit was expanded a bit, the mats shaken out, blankets folded, food stores reorganized... If Autumn had been around this day, and happened to have the energy, Llune would've asked her for help rock shaping a little basin to catch fresh rainwater in, as well as create a few shelves to get things off the floor.

"It's starting again," she said to her son, not really asking, merely making a statement, "They will return," she finished, as though she knew it was on Savith's mind.

When the sky changed and started to look angry again Autumn winded her way back to the cave. When she arrived the lovely tall elfess asked for Autumns help in making a few things inside the cave. It was the wild elfess joy to help her. Even after her long talk with Savith she still felt these two were somehow better then the rest of them, including herself. A few shelves, a basin and any other sort of thing she needed was little trouble. While she did these things she decided to talk to Llune and see what her take on being called high One was. So came the send to Llunes mind alone, that felt like she was intruding on the regal ones mind *H... High One. May I ask you something?*

Savith turned his gaze to his mother's face, the frown lifting slightly. "They'd better," he states simply before returning his gaze to the storm outside. "They'd better," he repeats, a touch darker.

(Getting back from the woods Dancer and Blaze are now making their way back to the cave.)

Dancer frowned and sighed a bit. "Yes we should get the meat to the others." She knew all to well that Savith would never let her leave with her cat even if Blaze went with them. He had pointed out well her importance in the group and Savith must see it the same way. She urged Fire Bright to walk on till they got to the cave. On the way she leaned over and lay against his thick neck. Rain pelting her face but she didn't care. She reached up and scratched him behind the ears and when they reached the cave Dancer sent up to Savith but not in lock send. *Blaze and I are back. We have meat. Do you think you could lift it?* Slipping from her kitty's back she hugged him tight. "You must go back to the woods my friend. Thank you so much for all your help." Kissing his nose she waved a hand at him. If Blaze was off then the mighty cat took off into the rain and wind. Dancers long face showed clearly how she felt about having to send her friend away. It was good that tears looked like rain in the rain.

Savith perked up at Dancer's sent instantly. Floating to the edge of the cave's ledge, he looked down for the meat and blinked in happy surprise. **I will,** he replies, unable and unwilling to mask the relief, pride, joy, and touch of envy in his mind. He drops to his knees on the rock, grumbling slightly as the motion sets his nakle afire again. he reaches forward with a hand and sends out for the stuck pig, mind pulling it up toward his outstretched fingers. High Ones, he's even smiling!

Quickly Dancer made her way up the tree and to where Savith was. His ankle called to her as she placed a hand on his shoulder to greet him. "I will tend your ankle once you have the meat up alright?" Her voice was quiet as she wrung out her hair and flug it back over her shoulder again. Even his smile as rare as that flower might be didn't make her happy. Dancer just found a spot near the little fire and sat.

After wringing out his wet clothing, Blaze wrapped himself toga-like in a blanket, and sat down next to Dancer, feeding the fire wood to bring it back to life. As he curled and folded the extra heat around himself to dry quickly, having never dealt well with cold or wet conditions, he locksent to the cat-elf, quite shure of the cause of her moodiness. **I'm sorry you couldn't spend more time with your cat. At least now you know he's faring fine on whatever he's eating, and not bothered by the storm. It will be done soon, and there will be nothing to keep you from him.** He hugged her consolingly with one arm over her shoulders, doing his best to keep warm after so much time in the cold rain. He wasn't fond of being cold, not anymore than he liked swimming.

Dancer sat quietly as Blaze settled himself next to her. His arm around her felt nice but his words were already in her head before he said them. She was already thinking that once the storm was over she would go spend a few days and nights in the woods with Fire Bright. A shiver ran through her as she hadn't bothered to get out of wet things or dry off yet. Lifting her eyes from the floor she looked at Savith, waiting for him to be done hefting up the gutted pig so she could heal his ankle more. Then she glanced about the cave to be sure everyone was still there.

Savith gave a nod to the healer, sparing half a glance at her as she patted his shoulder on her way past him. Blaze too got into the cave before Savith had hauled the pig up over the ledge then into the cave. Setting it down by the entrance, where it could be shielded from the onslaught and yet not get on everyone as it was portioned out, the glider paused only a moment before reaching for his boot knife. Floating above the corpse, he moved to butcher it further, peeling off sections of meat as he worked.

Llune followed Autumn around the cave, ooh-ing and aah-ing at her rock shaping and offering suggestions as to how Llune would like them to look, with a curl here and a bird or butterfly or flower or tree or whatever there...

After the shelves were made, Llune thanked Autumn and began to place the food stores and the other supplies on them, humming happily to herself. Autumn's send was answered kindly, and kept private as well, **Yes, of course my dear, what's on your mind?** Her send was light and almost like laughter it was so innocently carefree. Clearly Llune was (still!) not quite getting that Autumn was calling *her* a High One.

As Dancer and Blaze returned and entered the cave to dry off, Llune greeted them with a warm **Welcome home.** Llune smiled knowingly over her shoulder at her son before returning to organizing the supplies on the shelves Autumn had made, "Shall I put some tea on to warm us all up?" she asks everyone and no one in particular - for she was planning to make tea in a moment anyway.

Autumns joy

After all Llune wanted was made Autumn took a few moments to rest and finish chatting with her. Latter she had planned to go into the hole that young Dew had found and make it less hazardous for everyone if she could. Still for the moment to talk privately with the lovely Llune would make her happy. *Are you what I say you are or do you think the others have lost respect for those that were first here. The ones who gave each of us life somehow?* Autumn didn't look at Llune as she spoke. Instead her eyes drifted to Blaze for a moment to see if he would snoop in on her conversation as he did last time. Emerald shards watched him comfort the healer as they tried to warm up. They had found meat. Autumns stomach twisted as she remembered just how hungry she was. Then she looked to the floor as if thinking about nothing, waiting for Llunes answer.

When Dancer heard Llune ask about tea she said softly, "Oh yes please. It would be nice to be warm again." Leaning against Blaze she hoped maybe some of his heat working skills would warm her as well. She also wanted the storm to be over already. She watched Savith work on the hog and then looked around again at everyone. Their little tribe was growing in leaps and bounds. Hunting needed to be done more. She wasn't skilled at it but between her and Fire Bright she was sure they could get a few bits of meat to help out. Her mind trying hard to find ways to help out everyone as much as possible. She wanted this tribe to enjoy her being part of it and to actually think of her as useful. Yes, she was the healer and that was her use but she wanted to be useful beyond that.

Llune finishes placing the various supplies on her new shelves and turns to prepare the tea, "Just a moment, darling, I'll have it ready in half a heartbeat..." Llune replies to Dancer, her voice is happy and carefree, bubbling over almost into laughter.

To Autumn, Llune replied gently, and almost absently **Hm? What is it you say I am, my dear?** She looks over her shoulder at Autumn as she lifts the warm stones from the fire's edge with her magic and plops them carefully into the basket of cold water and herbs, her face is kindly and warm, but still completely oblivious to what Autumn's getting at. After a pause and a bit of thought, Llune attempts to answer what she *thinks* Autumn's question is. **I think many forget after living such long lives that respect is due to all things, first, middle and last... Does that help?**
