What it stands for:
RP is the short form of saying Role Play, Any way you would create a fictional character for the story of your choice, in our case its Naruto, so you would create a fictional Naruto Character! -Be sure to post your characters profile in it's designated forum.
Once you have your Character created, then you can join in the story. There may already be a story line going, so be considerate/patient and see it through, these are veteran RPer's and you can't just abruptly change the plot! So no suddenly poping up, knowing what's going on and who everyone is. Your character might not really know their character personaly.
How ever once you get used to RPing, you'll be able to control the situation.
With enough chakra, and a rank higher than genin, you can 'poof' or teleport to diferent places in the country/area/sub-forum. For your character to go to a diferent subforum, they will have to go to the countrie's boarder to cross, then they can go to the outher country/area/sub.
Not all your ninja attacks will hit someone, and you can't dodge every attack, either. That would be called godmodeing. However during battle you rely on godmodeing. If you get hit or your arm is lopped off...wack them with your arm. They'll never suspect that. Or if you don't want to be hit by some allpowerful attack, use a substitution jutsu, unless you're out of chakra. Jutsu's do take up chakra.
Also, always read the first post. It tells what the area is, what it may look like, and if it's hidden.
sometimes, time will pass from someones last post if they leave the area.

"G-get out of here you two. Eldist, you know what to do." The two frogs reluctantly dissapeared. 'I'm sorry Tsunade. I guess I won't be able to go on a date with you after all.' *coughs up more blood. He remembers hid student Minato, and his godchild Naruto.*

One more thing. If your character is leaving a topic/area just put -> (cont to *insert area*) Also, keep it on the right side of the post NOT THE CENTER, unless it's a document or poem or whatever special thing. And shrinking the text should be for whispering or talking quietly.
