Nestled in the forests at the northeastern edge of Mahora rests the Shinto shrine of the city, just one of the multi-cultural facets of life at Mahora. Run by the Tatsumiya family, the shrine has existed in its current location since the volatile times of the Sengoku period, and was set as one of the cornerstones of Mahora upon the city's construction.

"At least it's quiet around here." Evangeline commented to herself. There was slight annoyance in her tone. Lately many of the students have come to bother. Obviously new students. She sat quietly above in one of the tree's branches. Leaning back against it, she fiddled with some of the leaves that hung higher above her. It was still sort of early. Classes still hadn't started. Maybe today she would go.

Touma, who had already arrived previously to the shrine, lay on the ground, sleeping, his shirt was open, revealing slightly bloody bandages. He had opened it in order to apply less pressure on his wounds. A bottle of milk lay on his hand, still cold but unopened. He had of course run out of the stuff..........well not really, he just didn't feel like drinking some for about an hour while he slept.

Lying there quietly in the tree, Evangeline inhaled some of the aroma that flowed around the area. Blood? And why exactly would there be the smell of blood here? She took her gaze and followed the divine smell. Well, there he was. Of all the people too. Evangeline easily jumped down from her high position, landing steadily on both feet. "Such a shame." Evangeline walked over to him and kicked his shoulder. "Oi, wake up!" She stated. She couldn't stand the smell. For sure the Old Man would not let another attack slide as easily than the one before.

For some idiotically weird reason, instead of waking up like NORMAL PEOPLE DO, Touma instead clutched onto her leg and kept on sleeping peacefully. Thankfully, he didn't snore at least

"Get off you idiot!!" Evangeline exclaimed, smashing his face with her foot while she tried to shake his grasp off her leg.

At that, Evangeline just stopped and shook his hand off her leg. "How pathetic." She shook her head and now stood about a foot or two from Touma with her arms crossed. "You're the one who reeks of blood, Boya."

"Right, because I have no way of being able to tell. Your wounds still have fresh blood." Evangeline said then put her foot on top of his chest. "If I add force, I am sure you'd be able to see quite easily." She licked her lips to the thought of so much blood.

"I'm sorry Chibi-chan but I have no idea what you're talking about" he said his eye twitching at the pain he was going through "Besides why would I be bleeding hmm? There's no reason for that to happen so logically it can't be happening and you're just seeing things"

"Quite funny there. For me to be hallucinating of something?" Evangeline scoffed. She added some more pressure to the wound. Blood had already began to seep through. Evangeline could smell it.

"Oi, I know you're into that kind of play but this isn't exactly a good place to do that kinda stuff" he said holding in his screams of pain as he flinched at the now more noticeable pain

Ignoring his comment, Evangeline smirked. "You must be fighting quite a battle within yourself to stay silent and say such things." She stood back in her normal position, her foot now of his wound spot. She showed a wider grin now, her fangs full exposed, her eyes showed complete hunger. "Are you sure you should just be laying there like that? You are an open and easy target."
