Kraith walked the streets of Varfleet two days after assassinating the head of a guardian squad preventing black market trades. The word had just gotten out. After a while he returned to the crime scene where there were detectives and the rest of the guardian squad. "Darn! I can't find any evidence anywhere." A detective had blurted out. Kraith smirked and then strode away heading towards a bar.

He could feel the sun of this cloudless land pierce and weaken him, so he tried his best to stay in the shade. Merchants lined the streets heavily in this part of town, and were calling out to all passersby, trying to sell their goods. All of a sudden a black raven flew right past his head, and then into a nearby alley. From that brief moment he smelled the stench of death coming from the bird, and new that it was a messenger Undead Raven from the Order.
(um, Estalia is like a Middle Eastern kind of place, with lots of sun. and you are aware of the weaknesses for a Vampire fighting in the sunlight right? fortunately in the winter months in the northern areas there is less sun, and sometimes none for awhile)

Kraith entered the bar and took a seat..He sensed something undead and then looked at the doorway. There was a raven that beckoned him over. It flew off to a dark alley and waited. Kraith followed it and then extended his arm. It landed on him and he read the message it had. He was to return to The Keep of Pale Night soon, other than that there was just a mission notice that read all of the near places for missions to be carried out at. He turned around a sensed another vampire close by.

(Um, when you receive messages, I will control it, cause, well, I might want to say something important... that would make more sense)
The message bid him to return to the Keep of Pale Night at once. A major threat was coming from the Kierlak Desert, and they would need as many soldiers as they could get.

(Just pretend it said that other stuff too...I feel stupid now!)
Kraith walked out of the alley and towards the outside of town. The sense of another vampire was getting stronger. He whistled quickly and the sun was blotted out a minute later. He saw a dark image land just outside of town. It was Rori. Kraith walked towards her and mounted her, just about to take off.

(lol, don't feel bad. I just think it makes sense for the person who sent the note to answer for it. same if you are bartering with a merchant or something. if the vampire you are sensing anyone in particular? and, although normally when traveling you have to post in every place in between, for those who fly, you can just post next at your destination)
In the distance Kraith could see merchants entering the city, and he could see more ships heading towards the harbor.

(You can't post as my guy!! Aren't you roleplaying as a vampire right now? Because that's who I meant.)
Rori took off with Kraith on her back. Soon they would arrive in The Keep of Pale Night. As they soared through the sky Kraith wondered what the threat was..Are there zombies or werewolves, or what?..
(To The Keep of Pale Night, I have to go, but I'll be back on within an hour)

(I wasn't posting as you... I don't consider "looking" as taking control of someones character. I was just telling you what was around your character... trying to bring some depth to the world, sheesh razz it is how they do D&D. and my vampire is far to the north at the moment, he is also heading back to the Keep of Pale Night. Also, When in direct daylight reduce all of your stats by 3. This means that if you have Level 3 or less for your Magic you cannot cast spells. It doesn't affect you at the moment, but, just so you know. Being a Vampire gives you powerful pluses, but it can be very crippling as well, if you are just starting out)
