Heylo there!
This is a poem I wrote and if your wondering the reason why I wrote it go and read my other entry in this guild.
"The towers in my mind are tall and looming.Their grayness casts long shadows opon the ground and the impending insanity blots out any light from coming in.Spirits of old ideals and destroyed dreams haunt the streets.Gloomy with the blood of my younger memories dripping from their fingers.Little life finds a strong-hold there, were no sunlight or hope shines."

First, sorry I had to move this, but now it's where it belongs.
It's a very lovely poem, I particularly like the 'spirits of old ideals' line. (I'm a Creative Writing student so I know my metaphors :3). It's very sad and emotively moving, and the ending line is very strong.
I think it's good that you can bring creativity from your sad experiences.
