This city almost exclusively trades with Keslev across the sea, as few others bother sailing that far north because of the lack of resources Keslev has. Ostermark is the only city close enough to make a sailing there profitable. This city is also the capital of Ostland. Map Location/Picture:

The night is cold and foggy as it ever is in Ostermark during the long cold winter. With the sea air so biting most of the port guards are busy hiding indoors. Thus there is noone to witness the arival of a strange visitor. striding through the mist is a man in blue armor with an ornate healm and a long white cloak that seems to almost be one with the mist. Striding up to the port athority he knocks on the door. Soon the door opens and a middle aged man wearing the uniform of the port guard steps outside.
He eyes the stranger not sure what to make of the idiot bothring him on a slow night. "What the heck do ya want ya daft spunk garagler. Its late and im cold as the beer at the Elfsong."
The stranger inturn looked rather taken aback by the guards obvious anoyance. "This is the port athoraty? is it not?" he replied. "Of course it is. Ya b*****d son of a sorley used barrel." said the port guard. "Ah" said the stranger" then do not new arivals from the port have to check in here?"
The guard could not believe it. The stupid prat was waiting for an arival on a night like this when no ships were due to dock? Did he not have the brains to check the ship arival chart? "Look lad Im gonna guess your touched in da ed just a wee bit. Thar ain't no ships coming in tonight so go home and come back later. " Finaly seeing where this was going the stranger perked up." My dear man you misunderstand me I'v come to check in. I just arived in port and I like to make a good impresion. Could you fecth me the Papers now?"
Unable to even muster the will to ask where the strange armorclad manic had come from the guard stood still while the man helped himself to the sign-in sheet. " And....That.....IS ....THat. All done. you have a good night Mr. guard and stay warm. Having finished the form the Stranger walked in the drection of the city. " Wait you how did you get here is it wasnt one of the boats." yelled the guard. In responce the stranger pointed to the pier side and continued into the city. Looking out the guard could just make out at the very edge of his vision the figure of a ship sinking into the bay. The hulk was far to broken to have been sea worthy in the near past. Looking at the sheet of paper he was inturptued by another guard. "Hey Olef who was it?" Olef the guard could only respond. "The paper says his name was Karas Valen. Says hes here for busness and pleasure." The other guard looked off into the distance. " That souds like a good idea. Wish I had the vacation time for that." Olef chucled nervously. "Sven I think I might use use thoes 10 years of back time they owe me. I think its a good time to get out of here for a bit."

Musing where to head next Karas sits back on a bench and lets the world drect him where it may. Something in his gut says he should head sotuhwest. The smell of adventure and agless knowlage is in the air.

Ikzer danced as some people put money in his hat that he held out. Then placed agiley atop his head. Then made a white rose appear between the ladies boobs. Who blushed and giggled with the other girls beside her. The man with her didn't look happy but Ikzer madehis way through to the next little group beside him before the man said anything. He threw a dagger up into the air and made it turn into a bird as he juggled more daggers.

Valen had the hood of his cloak covering shielded his face from the sun. It was late in the winter and the sunlight was returning, so he would have to hide from it once again whenever he was outside of Sylvania and the dark magic there that kept it cloudy all the time. As they entered the city Valen turned to Rae, "well this is where I believe our path together will end, I am off to find my friends."

((OMG I had to do this post twice! Stupid computer...))
Rae looked Valen over for a moment,"I suppose..." She eyed his sword for another moment clearly thinking it over.
Nvira scoffed,"I will not be part of a dragons horde I will die of boredom and lack of use..." She said in Valen's mind.
"Maybe we shall meet again." She gave a nice smile. Rae said before becoming completly distracted by someone calling to her.
Ikzer was looking at his crowd and then dropped all his daggers. As they hit the ground they all turned into white doves and flew away if anyone followed them completly they just disappeared out of sight in a small puff of smoke once they got a certian distance. "My lady." Ikzer did this often, he choose one lady to presue before going to the next town. He would get her. He bowed in front of her nicely. "My lady. I would give you a flower but it would only dulll compared to your nice pale skin."
Rae was taken aback. She had never been approached like this by anyone. She looked to Valen for help.
Nvira started to crack up at the circumstances. "Oh Valen don't help her please I want to see what she will do."

Valen smirked at the irony of the situation, "have fun you two." He then walked off to go and find Tira and Dar.

Rae stuttered,"Uhhh... I have....to...follow my friend..."
Ikzer smirked,"It seems he left without you do you need an escort throguh the town. Did he tell you a place to meet?"
Rae looked at his ridiculous outfit he was wearing. "Ummm.... I don't want to be walking aorund with someone...so weirdly dressed."
Ikzer smiled. "Alright stay right there I will be right back. Sorry guys show is over." He told the crowd before going behind his stage.
Rae thought about leaing him behind and just blending in to the crowd but the second she took one step she heard him behind her. "Where are you going my lady? My name is Ikzer whats yours?"
"Rae...." Rae answered timidly. He was handsome, but elves were all like that. She had never seen this kind of elf before. He was very dark colored. Elves were usally very distracted in thier own world or doing other things. Why was he so diffrent? He looked better without the weird clothes he had been wearing.
"Named after a ray of sunshine I am sure." Ikzer smiled handsomly,"So where was your friend going?"
"Umm... well..." Rae sighed,"We were parting ways here so I guess I am free to go where I please. What would you suggest thats fun to do?"
Ikzer laughed,"How about we just go get something to eat after your travels since you just got here."
Rae smiled,"Alright!"

Valen started by asking the guards at the entrances if they had seen his friends. Dar easily stood out in a crowd and was not easy to forget, and Tira's strange ring blade was also quite recognizable. But to his surprise they all said that they had never seen either of them. So next he went to the taverns to see if they were staying there but still had no luck. He even went to the prisons to see if they had gotten into some trouble but they were not there either, which was more of a good thing than a bad thing. As it started getting dark Valen even hired a few skilled mercenaries to try and track them down, but they found nothing either. Valen went to a Blood Dragon controlled tavern to rest and think on what could have happened to them. While in the war with the Undead in the Kensrowe Pass he had sent a few messenger Ravens and had received no replies. Likely they had been intercepted somehow while en route, or else they would have simply returned to Valen. They could easily have made it here by now. He was a little worried they may have been attacked by ghouls or those strange monsters, or something else, but he had faith that they could have handled it. He was still in thought when one of the mercenaries he had hired entered the tavern and came over to him. Valen looked up surprised since he had not expected to see him again after he was unable to find them the first time. The mercenary sat down, "Mr. Valen I was able to find something on your comrades."
"Alright, my payment has not changed for information."
"I was talking with some guards at one of the less used gates and they said that they had seen them leave the city about a week ago."
Valen was scared that would have happened. "Did they know where they were going?"
"I am afraid not."
"Thank you." Valen handed him a bag of coins. "If you learn where they went I will pay you double next time."
"I will look into it." At that the mercenary left.
Valen began thinking on how he could find his lost friends.

( Think I should finally bring Nirissa back to life. )
Nirissa sat at the end of the bar, her arms folded across it's wooden top and her chin rested lightly ontop. Her pale blue eyes stared intensely at a glass of water. She wanted to turn it into ice sooooo badly, but she knew that would give her away within a second. Oh well, time for some human slaughtering. Her eyes flickered to the side, eyeing Valen. "Need some help finding your friends?" She questioned. She guessed he was just a normal human, 'special' people don't usually come in to taverns like this. She, herself, looked like a normal human at the moment, her Disguise spell was in effect. She was already beginning to formulate a plan in her head. Leave the tavern, walk get out of town, bam, dead. So simple. A smile curved her lips.

Valen barely heard her because he was deep in thought. After a moment to recall what she had asked he replied, "do you know where they are?"
(Oh, you can freeze the water if you like, other magicians can do it as well.)

Nirissa paused for a moment, "Uuuuuhm, no. But I can help! I'm very good with things like helping." She was trying to be as 'human' as possible, and humans in her mind were basically just plain annoying.

"Thanks, but the only kind of person that could help me at the moment is a prophet...." Valen jumped up out of his seat, "that is it! Thanks!"
Valen rushed out of the tavern and back into the streets.

(I am sorry, I just don't want our characters to fight right now..... but I have a calling to everybody if you can figure out a way to join/follow me please do, I have some fun ideas ahead twisted )
Valen moved through the streets quickly. It was dark now so they were more open than earlier in the day. He was heading for a temple, preferably one of The Lady of the Lake, but a Temple of Sigmar would do fine as well.
