What do you know about zOMG?

Links

Here's some specific information that I knew nothing about until I researched. I've copied or paraphrased it from around gaia.

Ring sets give you extra advantage!

Power Ups What are they, where are they?

  1. Located in the Power-Up tray. (click little red arrow pointing up on the left side of your ring tray to find it.)
  2. Power-Ups come with a certain number of charges. The ones you find as loot come with 10 charges. Those you buy at Back Alley Bargains with 50 charges. Once you use up all the charges, the item disappears.
  3. There are two types of Power-Ups currently:
    - Superchargers : These replenish BOTH health and stamina. They don't cost any Stamina, so they can be REALLY useful in battle when you're starting to run low on juice, or if you're taking so much damage that you can't heal it all with your rings. (NOTE: You can only use one every 20 seconds.)

    - Ring Polishers : When you expend a charge from this item, then ALL of your currently equipped rings operate at 125% normal effectiveness for the next three minutes. This can be *enormously* effective for you since that means all offensive and defensive powers, as well as stat changes, are all made that much more powerful while using them. If you think about it, this can be even more useful than the Superchargers.

G'hi

G'hi energy is classified as a mysterious "life force" which flows through each of us. When we wear these special rings, the G'hi energy within all of us is used to increase our stats through the use of "G'hi Buffs."

G'hi Buffs are passive buffs which you gain as you play the game, and boost up your various stats like HP, Accuracy, Luck, etc.

As your G'hi buffs are active though, your G'hi meter drains, and your buffs become weaker. (If a G'hi buff adds 10 Accuracy, for example, and your G'hi meter is 80% full, then you'll receive an additional 8 Accuracy).

You can stall the draining process by being in a crew and engaging in social activities (like chatting), and you can quickly refill your G'hi meter by sitting around in town.

Unlike rings, the only way to strengthen your G'hi energy is to simply spend time exploring the world of Gaia.

    Current G'hi Abilities Include:

    -Health
    -Willpower
    -Accuracy
    -Dodge
    -Luck

Rage
You accumulate "Rage" in your "Rage Meter," when you use your rings - which is the red bar split into three sections to the bottom-right of your screen.

Using rage to activate your rings increases various aspects of it, such as damage dealt, HP recovered, stats increased, and so on.

To activate your ring, simply choose the ring you want to use and "hold" down the hotkey you've assigned it to ( 1-8 ). As you hold it down, your rage bar will start to flash and begin to drain. When you let the button go, you'll activate your ring and whatever "Rage Rank" you stopped charging at.

Each ring has four Rage Ranks.

Questions to You!

Are you in a clan? What clan? How's the whole clan experience been?
    What's your CL?
zOMG is too complex for me to have all the answers, but we can discuss our strategies and ask questions here. (I don't mean to preempt the main guild threads about zOMG, this thread is only for figuring out how to play the game, and not the many other aspects of the game like teaming up, exchanging items, and complaining about the many bugs XP)

I found Bria_Teragrams walk through to be most helpful. I don't actually play but she guided me through Barton town. XD
