Tony Stark's gleaming red and gold Helicarrier cuts through the sky with both style and substance. It is the nerve center of SHIELD and the Initiative, where a rotating staff of SHIELD's top personnel oversee the safety and security of the United States against superhuman and extra terrestrial threats.
The numerous floors contain everything from fully functional forensics labs to housing for it's staff and recreational facilities including an olympic length swimming pool.
The helicarrier stands open to all friendly members of the superhero community from all worlds and timelines, with SHIELD's resources open to any interested in applying for clearance. It is also director Tony Stark's current base of operations.
