This is a pairing that, if you have been around the guild enough, you would know turtlequeen2 and I have taken many cracks at. The lovable fox demon and Naraku's notorious incarnation...you may be saying "What?" but I will explain!
You see...this all originated around two years ago (late 2006) after turtle-chan and I had been involved in a RPG together for about a year. Having become good friends over the course of that year, we decided that we would have an "affair." Guess who got to play it out for us? That's right...our characters! Well, that on top of the fact that we'd been having an ongoing conversation about a crack pairing no one had ever mentioned before due to also moderating the Inuyasha Pairings Forum on FanFiction.Net contributed, too...
But, at the time in the RPG, I was Shippou and she was Kagura, Hakudoushi, and Akago (now she's Byakuya and Sesshoumaru on top of those while I took over Inuyasha). We went with Hakudoushi/Shippou because of the similarities between them...e.g. them both being young boys, both of them being rather mischievous, and both annoy the hell out of Inuyasha. We made it work, and we were the only ones who had thought of this pairing yet (overall), making it our "thing."
Now we are recruiting fans and supporters of this pairing! Think about it, people! It's cute!
P.S. This pairing is also now known as "Hippo." Partially because it is a weird, random mixture of character names, but mostly because, when I wrote it in Japanese into Google Translator, it told me the translation was "negative influences."

Okay I am going to be first to reply to this! Actually it is not a bad idea, kinda cute if you really think about it! I love the nickname Hippo how adorable its so kawaii! I will say yes to this pairing because it out of the box! 4laugh

Kagome_roker, thank you for the support. Yes...we find this pairing to be really cute ourselves, and of course it is "outside the box." 3nodding Unite the Hippo fans!
BlueNeko13, KikiandKoga123, care to explain why you think it's so "creepy"? And your incredibly strong reactions? eek I mean, I elaborated on the fact that it was somewhat weird, but you guys seem to be taking that factor extremely negatively. confused | ♥

I do like the pairing but not to be harsh, does that mean that Shippo becomes gay? (Just because of them both being boys..) redface

At least with Hakudoushi being an incarnation of Naraku it doesn't really matter for him. Half of them are gay anyway. Unless they're female (Kagura seemed pretty straight) or appear anatomically incapable of having an orientation...
Otherwise it works fairly well. rofl Turtle-chan and I have a plan of how shocked Shippou would be to find himself interested in Hakudoushi. | ♥
