Crookshanks.... i'm having a very similar issue in the sewers. i turned the first valve , on my pda there is a flag showing the second valve when i go there and click it to turn it nothing hapens, i've found all the other valves in the sewers just wandering about.
apparently other people are having issues with it and there is no help form the stafff, there are at least 3 posts about it right now in the "officla bug forum" ...
It sucks other people are talking about beating the final boss and I'm still stuck trying to turn valves and killing plungers cry

i was yelling at plungers cause they would swarm me if i stood in one spot too long.
I finalyl got out of the sewer yay!!!

I have been very busy with school and the holidays but the area where you can exit the sewer is near the top left but a bit near the center that area has a whole bunch of gramsters its on a wall its kind of dark so just scroll your mouse over it and you should be able to find it click on it more than once it can sometimes not respond right so keep trying that is how i exited the sewers.. if there are more questions dont hesitate to ask i have time to be here and intend to make and effort to help anyone who needs it. 3nodding
