ZZZZPOFFZZZ! A dark orb appeared in the sky and two Naruto's fell from it, falling a hundred or so feet. Thankfully the sand cushioned the impact.

Naruto sat up, spiting a mouth full of sand, out. "Bleah!" He started choking on the tiny grains as he spoke. "Where *cough* are we? *cough*"

naruto saw himself sink and his other self also
"well... every man for himself !"
naruto jumped on his other self and then jumped away to a safe distance , on a rock , leaving a strong wire connected to his other self's pants

When the other Naruto jumped on him, his face was forced into the sand, getting another mouth full of sand that he choked on. He spit it out, tempted to curse the other till death. "*cough* Hurry it up alre- *gags and caughs on sand*"

mad "That's it!" Naruto cut the wire and made handsigns. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Fifty clones apeared, fighting in the quicksand. They grabbed the real Naruto and pulled him out, using thierselves as solid ground till he made it out of the quick sand. Some of the clones were destroyed in the sand, but many more remained till he dispelled them.
