The following is a list of rules, and Member Terms of Use. These rules are Non-Negotiable, and are subject to Change at any time.
1.) Do NOT argue with a moderator.
2.) Posing as Guild Staff and ordering other members around will result in a warning, then being banned from the Guild, if the problem persists.
3.) All Members are REQUIRED to set up a Profile upon entrance to the guild. Profile MUST be based on your Avatar. Once set up, the "base" character may NOT be changed, without The Guild Councils' DIRECT permission, but may be updated, providing suitable RP or reasons behind the change, such as buying a new weapon, armor, etc.
3-a.) If a member decides they would rather use a Dream Avatar for their character, such an exception will be allowed, providing they place that avatar on their Guild member profile. Such a member is required to post that avatar every time they make a Roleplaying post. This allows for people to change their avatar without changing their character. As always the Guild Leaders would prefer it if a member used their own avatar, but understand that money can be an issue.
3-b.) Characters may also post Dream Avatars for the purpose of Non-Player Characters.
4.) NO cyber. You are entitled to your sex life, but do NOT share it with us.
4-a.) Members are required to be fully clothed at all times. Cleavage on females is acceptable, as well as a bit of leg, and males may be shirtless or wear shorts, but no member is to wear anything that can be deemed "Inappropriate" or Overtly Sexual.
5.) NO 'txt' talk. Use proper grammar, first time offenders shall be warned, banning shall follow if the problem persists.
6.) NO Slavery. Slavery goes against everything this guild stands for, Offenders WILL be banned without warning.
7.) Be aware that all posting should follow the guild rules, and that any inappropriate forum usage (i.e. posting a OOC topic in a roleplaying forum) will be subject to a warning, followed by banning.
7-a.) The guild leaders are happy to allow OOC chat in the OOC forum, providing they follow posting TOS. Inappropriate topic decorum is as follows: Politics, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Race, or anything else related to personal views. Feel free to discuss these topics so long as you are not flaming another's personal views, or trying to force your own upon other people. Debate is allowed so long as it is friendly and unoffensive.
7-b.) Do not post unnecessarily. Any post that is not part of an event, a post in the roleplay, or appropriate OOC conversation topic (i.e. a "bump" post) will be deleted. Any post deleted by a Guild Moderator, and the original author recreates the post, the user will be warned, and if the problem persists, banned.
8.) Debating on what you want for the Guild is not an option. When the answer is No, please don’t pursue the issue any further. Suggestions may always be submitted to the Guild Leaders.
9.) Unexcused, prolonged periods of Absences will only be accepted to an extent. Inactivity is a guild killer. If you are planning to be absent for an extended period of time (i.e. family vacation, illness, family death, severe depression, school, grounding, etc.) please somehow alert any of the guild moderators, and your absence will be noted, and accounted for. A accepted "extended absence" is considered by the Guild Leaders to be a period of time no longer than two weeks. If a person does not check in after that two week period of time, a warning PM will be sent, if that person is gone longer than two months, without an occasional check in, the person will be automatically removed from the guild. If you are removed from the guild, but return with a good reason as to why you were absent for longer than the two month time period, you will be asked to rejoin the guild.
10.) Badgering Guild members for items, gold or donations of any kind, after they have said no, will result in being banned. Badgering may be reported directly to the Guild Captain or Vice Captains, all reports must provide proof, in the form of a screen shot, or by forwarding the PM to the Moderators.
10-a.) Questing Threads in the OOC forum will allowed, providing no one is overly pushy with them, and no one badgers another person to visit it.
11.) All Existing Popular Culture Characters that one may choose to play will be based on their most updated version, presuming they never died. As always, the Guild Founder, Lanyx, would appreciate it more if players were to create their own character, but has no issue with a person playing their favorite game/movie/manga/popular culture character Providing there is no more than ONE in the TSH Family of Guilds. A List of Character roles filled will follow; Ichigo Kurosaki-Bleach. Cloud Strife-Final Fantasy Saga. Squall Leonhart-Final Fantasy Saga. Sephiroth-Final Fantasy Saga. Zell Dincht-Final Fantasy Saga. Kain Highwind-Final Fantasy Saga. Edward "Edge" Geraldine-Final Fantasy Saga.
12.) Advertising another guild or RP group in this guild is one of the fastest ways to get yourself in trouble. So if you have your various guilds in your Signature, do NOT attach the signature to your posts. This includes advertising in the OOC forum topics.
13.) Our Guild features a banking system differing from most. Instead of depositing any donations into the guild account, they should all be donated to TSHFirstBankandTrust, through a trade. These donations, which may also include items, will be used, as the moderators see fit to improve the guild, or help guild members obtain an item they may need, or even be used later as funding for prize events. Donations may include any item a person does not want, nothing is too small. Any items from random gaia events are appreciated.
14. If you are a member of this guild, you may also be a member of ONE of the branch guilds, but no more than that ONE. You are entitled to change your mind, though people who are repeatedly indecisive will be told no. An exception will be made for anyone who is promoted to Guild Moderator, or is asked to join the Development Team.
15. The "Dragon and Kai" Ninja Headband, or any other Ninja Headband is forbidden in this guild, except by members who are also part of the Kage Doragon Branch. If you wish to be a Ninja, you will have to wait to be contacted by someone from that branch guild.
