User ImageUser ImageThe land of Arcadia is a world perfect for pirates, here the only thing for pirates to fear is other pirates. There are two types of pirates there are the white pirates which only attack cargo ships unless they get attacked by another pirate, and then there are the the black pirates who attack every opposing ship. There are certain pirates who's only wish is to become pirate king but for them to become the King they must find the last Kings treasure which is hidden on a island full of traps, and all who have tried to find the treasure have never returned.

Silver Arashi of Twilight
Gaian Name: Silver Arashi of Twilight
Name: Alizéa "Zephyr" Lafayette
Age: 17
Group: the Rogues de Azure (or the Azure Rogues)
Rank: Navigator/1st Mate
Appearance: Alizéa
Background: Angered because the French Naval Academy wouldn't allow a woman to train under them, Alizéa struck off on her own at a young age by running away from home and hitchhiking on the first ship that came into port. From then her acute mind learned from all she experienced, keenly adapting and surpassing all she knew until she became known as the "Zephyr" because she was like the wind: uncatchable, untraceable, here one moment and gone the next. Captain Jonathan Swift, a British privateer, recruited her not less than a year ago to be a part of the Azure Rogues. Joining the crew as Zephyr, rather than her real name, it was not long before she rose to be second in command and Jonathan's most trusted colleague.

"The weather is nice today wouldn't you say Arthur(1st mate)" Vyse said with a little sarcasm because the weather was horrible, it was raining there was thunder and lightning and the waves were massive. "I wish you would be a bit more sensible at a time like this captain" Arthur said. "Captain there is a ship on the horizon to the west" the look-out said, "Well then turn the ship lets go steal some cargo boys.

Torrents of rain poured out of the heavens like a flowing stream. It pounded the wooden hull of the two ships relentlessly. The Calypso Azure sailed directly port side of the large merchant vessel beside it, tailing ever so slightly behind as a precautionary measure. It was on starboard aft of the Calypso that Alizéa stood, watching the foggy distance unveiled behind the rudder of the opposite vessel. She had rubbed the rain out of her eyes so much that they were beginning to grow sore. Finally, she pivoted on her heel and struck out for the Captain's Cabin. The door creaked quietly open as she stepped inside. There, seated casually at his ornate ash wood desk with his legs propped casually upon it, was Captain Jonathan Swift. He merely opened one amused eye as he watched his young first mate enter —an eye that keenly closed as soon as she turned around to face him. "Bloody weather out there we're havin', eh?" he stated. Alizéa glowered, "Like hell you would know, Captain." A slight smirk rose up the corner of his lips at this. "Why don't you grab one o' my towels from the back room?" he suggested, "Ya look as drenched sea fish right now." She paced over to a rear closet, opened the door, and withdrew a white towel. She began to dry herself fervently. "Why don't you come outside and come join me for a swim?" she commented sardonically as she ruffled the towel through her loose hair. The captain chuckled, "Temptin' as that may sound, my dear, I'm afraid I'd have to decline. Ya see, I can watch my prospects jus' as well from this window." He used his thumb to indicate the window behind him.

Alizéa finished drying herself and tied her hair back up with a pin. "Funny," she muttered, "last time I checked one couldn't watch their prospects through closed eyes." To this the Captain chuckled again. "Is that so? Really I think you'd be surprised. You can see quite a lot through closed lids." Alizéa leapt over to his desk and whipped off his hat. "Really?" she repeated jokingly. The Captain's bright blue eyes flicked open and gazed at her, a playful light dancing in them. Alizéa smiled and lowered the hat back onto his head. He was watching. She knew all along that he had been astutely observing everything from the get-go. His jovial nature only belied his extreme intelligence and sensitivity. She sighed and leaned back against his desk. "I still can't believe you rented out our services to some stupid merchant vessel like this," she stated. He sat up. "Well, it was an easy way to make funds. An' that stupid oaf o' a privateer they have practically begged me to have my crew act as an escort to his." he explained. He then leaned forward, "Besides, I think it's a bloody brilliant idea, don't you? What better way to avoid bein' pillaged by pirates than to use pirates as a safeguard?" Alizéa laughed quietly, "You'll still steal his pocket change after we're all through." The Captain wittily acquiesced this notion. "Well, he did say I could pick whatever monetary amount I deemed adequate to compensate for our troubles after the trip, right?" he said with a sly grin. Alizéa could not help but roll her eyes appreciatively. "I'm glad you agree, Zephyr." he said to the backside of his first mate.

Suddenly there came a thunderous noise and the reverberations of splintering wood. Alizéa and the Captain leapt up out of their seated positions in reaction. "What the blazes was that?" she breathed. "Cannon fire," the Captain noted astutely, "aimed directly at that blasted merchant's mast, no doubt." Alizéa's eyes went wide and she rushed outside of the Captain's cabin; She knew better than to question his judgement. She burst through the door and out into the pouring rain to see the shambles of the merchant vessel's mast looming over its main deck and sinking partly into the water. Despite the drenching downpour, her keen eyes were able to detect the faint outline of an oncoming ship beyond the incapacitated vessel in the fog. A sole jolly roger flew overhead. "Pirates!" she realized. "All hands on deck! Get your bloody arses moving! Looks like we've got a border of the port side." bellowed Captain Swift as he strode out of his cabin, still buttoning the bosom of his rainproof coat. Like rapid clockwork everything on the Calypso Azure came to life, with everyone manning their stations and readying all that could possibly be readied for battle. He sauntered up beside Alizéa. "Do you think they've spotted us?" he asked her. "No," she replied after a few seconds of pondering silence, "at least they haven't shown any indications. It looks like all they could make out was the merchant ship —their target— an' nothing beyond it. Our ship's drawfed by it in sheer size; That an' the fact that you dowsed the lights an half an hour ago probably helped."

"It pays to know that I've at least done one thing right." the Captain chuckled jokingly. Alizéa knew the man did practically everything right. He drew up his spyglass and peered out into the fog, "Swell observations, miss First Mate. But can you tell me who's flag that is?" He tossed the object casually to her. Her rain wet fingers barely managed to catch it. She hastily glanced through it. "It's red." she noted, "Something like a bobcat on it. Ah! And that tiny symbol in the corner...They're 'black', Captain!" She handed the spyglass back to him and he nodded with a pleased grin. "Atta girl! I knew you'd notice." he said, whipping around to go and speak with the helmsman.

"Arthur, bring us aside the ship so I and our ten best fighters can go aboard." Vyse said as he gave Arthur the the helm. When the ship came upon the starboard side, Vyse jumped on the ship, pulled out his pistol and shot in the air. "Everyone hand over all your merchandise and you can go with your lives." Vyse said.

The merchant captain and the members above deck all raised their arms in submission. Even if they did outnumber the pirates, they were poorly equipped to defend themselves. However, they were in luck; Captain Swift and fifteen of his well-trained combatants had all silently boarded the merchant vessel from the right side of its large main cabin. Alizéa had remained behind on the Calypso Azure's deck to view the proceedings and keep things running "smoothly as usual" onboard. The Captain and his men all slunk quietly up to the edge of the main cabin that lead out onto the upper deck. He signaled for them to fan out in a hushed and unseen manner. He was to go and meet his enemy alone for the moment. With a sudden and unexpected fashion, he leapt out from cover beside the main cabin and out onto the upper deck. "Are you certain they should trust you, a pirate such as yourself?" he called, cutlass drawn and his left hand inconspicuously near his pistol. From the Calypso's deck Alizéa peered up through the spyglass, observing everything with great intensity.
