(a set of trials a spirit can go through if they want a new body... if they succeed, they can be revived with whatever body they desire... if they fail, even their spirit will cease to exist)

((hmmm....then i may have something in mind... twisted for the brawn part at least...im gonna have some brainstorming to do for the brain and soul parts....))
the room shifted and turned into a colliseum floating in the air. ((think a combo of Skyworld + Onnless Colliseum.)) standing across from Nerd...was Inari, who had a steadily growing smile on her face when she saw the challenger. "Ahhh...the battle of the Millenium Champion happened not long ago, didn't it? I'd forgotten about that, so i was a little perplexed as to why i'd been called back here...It's rare for people to take the risk involved with these trials, so i must applaud you for your courage." she said as her many tails swayed lazily back and forth.

Inari nodded. "Long ago, the sun was thought to be a symbol of life, and in some places, still is...So what better person to judge the Trials of Life than a sun spirit, yes?" she said with a smile. "Unfortunately Nerd, im not here to help you, you know that right?" she said as she shifted into her fox form. "You may be the Millenium Champion, and Zelly's special someone, but that doesn't earn you a free pass to the world of the living im afraid..." she said as a series of foxfires appeared and spread out, creating a circle around Nerd. "Your first challenge of the Trials of Life: landing one hit on me before the sun above is at its highest." she said as each of the foxfires turned into a replica of Inari before they all charged at him and jumped over his head, beginning to dance around and mix themselves up.

"Easy, hm? We'll just have to see...." Inari's voice seemed to come from everywhere at once as the bullets passed through the foxes, the sun overhead seemed much larger and closer as it slowly crawled across the sky.

SuperNerd000 closed his eyes and focused. In his mind's eye, all the fake ones dissappeared, leaving only the real Inari. He quickly spun and shot at the real Inari with his guns.

"Two minutes, hm? Best record i've seen out of a handful of challengers!" Inari's voice said proudly as the sun that had appeared above at the start of the challenge seemed to shrink until it turned into a bright beam of light shooting down onto the ground where Inari then stood as the duplicates faded from sight. "I am happy to say that you've passed the first challenge. Ready for round two?"
