that is the only way I can describe what I saw/ heard while watching, of all things, The Price Is Right this morning. At the Showcase portion of the show (the last segment), the second one started out with the announcer saying "Chickety China, the chinese chicken. You have a drumstick and your brain stops tickin'". I begin to wonder why he just quoted Ed and One Week as the reveal the first prize. As it's being described I think that maybe it was just a one-time deal. Then the announcer says "Hold it now and watch the hoodwink. As I make you stop, think. You'll think you're looking at Aquaman." and then the show the second prize, so now I'm just laughing at this when to go into the third prize, the announcer says "gotta get a set of better clubs. gonna get the kind with the tiny nubs so my irons aren't always flying of the backswing. Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon cuz' that cartoon's got the boom anime babes that make me think the wrong thing." and as the go to show the third and final prize, the model is dressed as Sailor Moon. After that whole thing is done, they cut back to the host and contestants and the host is just laughing and he mentions that they did use lyrics from BNL. I know this kinda got wordy, but still that's just funny to see/hear on a game show

Oh my gosh. So, I finally watched this, and died. I absolutely loved the person dressed up as Sailor Moon...that was hilarious...

I think it was just the combination of hearing them incorporate the song lyrics with the prizes on a crappy game show mixed with the sight of some lady who's probably feeling like an idiot dressed in that outfit becaue she's probably too old to know what Sailor Moon even is (maybe? I have no idea how old the show is).

Yes. All arguably true. Well, I remember watching the show in fourth grade...but lemme check...'92 in Japan, '95 in the US. So I was in third when it came out (you too) which makes sense cause I didn't watch it for a while. I didn't like it when it started.
