~~~~~BattleDrome Map~~~~~
User Image
~~~~~DESCRIPTION~~~~~
Just outside of the small town where Lanyx has built his complex, seven GIGANTIC Orbs Stand in an open field, surrounding and connected by tube-like hallways to an Octagon-shaped Central Control Tower, which contains all of the computer systems necessary for running the Dromes. The front face of the tower is left unblocked by the Halls that connect the rest of the structure, and has a road leading up to massive metal doors. Lanyx spent many years and Many MILLIONS of Dollars developing the technology to Battle in Any Terrain, without having to travel all around the world to get there. The inside of each Drome looks like the inside of a giant metal ball, until activated by a judge in the Central Control Tower.
Then any Given Drome can project any of the Drome types selected by the battling parties. The Battle Terrain in the Dromes is SO realistic the objects within Each Terrain can be felt and touched, as if it WERE real. The Lowest floor of the Tower grants access to the Individual Dromes and is the ONLY floor of the tower that Non-Judges are allowed Access to. Dominating most of the lower floor of the tower, however, is a Giant Central pillar, With two locked doors; One that only opens for a judge Keycard and hides an Elevator leading to the Upper levels of the Ten story Tower. And one that leads to the MEGADrome, An Area so big that All Seven of the other DromeOrbs could fit inside of it. This area is ALWAYS projecting the Zen Gardens and remains Locked until Lanyx's Special code Opens it for Tournaments and Battle Royale Events.
~~~~~BATTLEDROME TERRAIN DETAILS~~~~~
~~~~~STANDARD BATTLE RULES~~~~~

1- Battles are for TRAINING only.

2- Challenges can be made under the Battle Arena Sub Forum, and those challenged are allowed to Decline the battle with an accepted given reason. The person being challenged shall choose the terrain on which the battle shall be held. Lanyx and vice Captains can not be called out for a challenge. Members may only fight in, or make one challenge at a time. (Only seven Challenges may exist at one time, first come, first serve. To create a new challenge make a "New Topic" and entitle it "Challenge (Your Name) VS. (Opponent Name).)

3- Upon entering the arena for a challenge all participants are required to wear regulation practice armor and weapons. Wooden Weapons in the shape, size and Weight of their Actual weapons. Same goes for armor.

4- All attack posts will have a 20 sided die roll attached to them. Ten being the minimum number required to make a connecting hit. Each hit is worth one. point, critical hits are worth two. First person to deal ten points wins,each person has 10 hit points and 10 magick points or Healing Potions that can be used to heal, however attack abilities do not run off of magick points. Healing spells are allowed and work the same way for scoring as damage, one point regular healing or two for a critical roll. Criticals are as follows - Lanyx gets auto critical, Vice Captains get critical hits on a roll of 18-20, Crew get critical on rolls of 19 or 20, members must roll a 20/natural. One Hit Kills are not allowed. And, NO, having more than one weapon equipped DOES NOT mean you get two attacks per round.

5- The Active Fight Judge, either Lanyx,a Vice Captain, or a Crew member not currently in a fight May step in at any time and declare a post "Invalid" and require the fight to go back to and Redo the post. Thus changing all Consequential posts FOLLOWING the Invalid post.

6- No one word post attacks or paragraph or multi-paragraph posts. The Judges have a LOT to do without having to read entire short stories.Description is Good, TOO much description is a bad thing.

7- No Pets or "helpers" such as clones are allowed.

8- Ranged Combatants must be visible and in the field within 20 feet of their opponent.

9- No "Status" effects are allowed in Drome Battles. This includes, but is not limited to; Poison, Sleep, Paralysis, and the like.

10- REPEATEDLY calling someone out is NOT allowed. Yes, it's fine if two of you like to fight each other. But Lanyx tolerates absolutely NO vendettas, or grudges.
