Right so i created a routine for my self, starting from Monday 3rd october...
If you feel like i can change something then let me know please =]

4:10=return home from college
4:20=clean room and house etc and snack on fruits or veggies
5:00=do another cardio work out for 20 minutes
5:30 eat dinner
6-8 finish any homework to be done
8 get ready for tomorrows day at college
9 watch tv
10:00 sleepy time. lol

Saturdays and sundays...
8 am:wake up and get dressed etc
9am:eat breakfast

8 tidy room or if a sunday then get ready for school.
9 watch tv
10:00 sleepy time. lol

I also have rules...pretty obvious ones..
1.no fatty snacks =[
2.no sugary food, with an acception on one small sweet treat on saturdays. if needed...
3.no slacking, am going to try and stay on my feet for a long time, so no lounging about for 1 hour or more when relaxing.
4.just eating healthy foods and thats about it...

people please critically judge my routine and make changes to it by using the quote button...it will be of great help to me! thanks =]
And please do take into consideration that my education is very important to me, which is why i put in a lot of slots for home work.

THANK YOU!! =]

Nothing wrong with your routine per say. You are doing your exercise and eating healthy (i see plenty of veg and fruit in there smile ) but i just feel from looking at it that it may be lacking calories or some nutrients like protein or healthy fats. What would you normally eat for dinner?

Edit: Btw sorry if you do post stuff it may take a while for a reply. The place seems VERY quiet and/or dead at the moment and i think im the only one keeping it running at the mo smile

well i would have vegetable soup...or any other kind of soup..
or tonight for example i had, fish...i think it was cod. i dunno really lol..
and potatoes and salad. what would you call healthy fat? and does healthy fat put on pounds?

It may pick up again at Christmas hopefully but we also never really advertised the guild well either, its very new (only a few months old!).

Now regarding your questions. Im just a little concerned your not eating enough protein, maybe at dinner time try and stick to (as you said before - fish) meat or fish sources like cod, salmon, chicken or turkey. Potatoes and salad will be fine with them.

Also regarding healthy fats, healthy fats are NEEDED for the body to produce hormones and other various functions. In fact eating more healthy fat will increase your chances of losing fat weight as it helps oxidise fat cells from the body. Sources include Fish, Almonds, Avocados, using mayo instead of butter, peanuts (raw skin peanuts, NOT salted or roasted etc), cashews. I wouldnt go mad eating lots of healthy fat but maybe during the day for your snacks include a small handful of almonds.

The ideal weight loss per week is 2lbs maximum. If you lose more than that you are most likely losing muscle weight also. Try and keep it to 2 lbs a week, although i dont think you will lose the 20lbs by january but you could lose around 16lbs (just keep going for another couple of weeks and you may hit the 20lb mark). It will be possible with, as i said before, healthy eating and exercise smile

Hehe nah im not trying to lose weight, quite the opposite actually. Im a training bodybuilder (natural) so i am trying to put on as much lean muscle weight as possible, i would be about 240lbs at the moment smile . I just generally like going to the gym, lifting heavy stuff and all so thats my excuse lol

Well its good to hear, just persevere and you will get the results. Even if you dont reach your total 20lbs by January don't give up on it, continue at it and you will get there 3nodding

Keep us updated anyway and feel free to ask more questions if you need to.

Do you find its putting pressure on you because you feel you cant eat any of your treats? There is nothing wrong with eating treats, as long as the intake is kept in moderation.

Or alternatively the best thing to do while trying to lose weight is finding another healthier food alternative for your sweet tooth. The reason why we crave sweets etc is because:
1) They give us a 'buzz' of energy, almost like a mental high
2) Blood sugar rises in the blood and then drops again, making the craving even worse.

What i think you should do is get somthing like strawberries, grapes or red berries and use those as your sweet alternatives (that is if you like strawberries etc). I find strawberries/berries very sweet and they are much better for you, not as calorie dense and go towards your 5 a day. I love eating a bowl of berries or strawberries now and again biggrin . Strawberries fill you up as well i find. Although fruits are sugar, they arnt necessarily the same sugar in sweets. The sugar in fruit is used in the body and doesn't rise the blood sugar like sweets do.
