It was the last activity of the day and Kitou stood between his ever present crowd of friends as they joked and played. Punching each other in the guts and teasing about girlfriends and crushes. They were all excited to go to Sunset Beach, it was the first year the camp had decided to take them and they all couldn't wait. Afterall, Camp Davidson was not usually one for fun things and activities.

"Boys! Please quiet down while I give the instructions!" the teacher boomed from across the tent.

"Sorry sir!" they cried before a few of them snickered and they pretended to listen. It wasn't long before he finished his speech and told them to start off to go pack, but of course to remember to finish the homework given for summerbreak. As the class quickly dispersed Kitou walked off towards the park, for one last stay before he could finally leave to go home, or at least his small apartment where he was now residing outside of school. Finding the tall oak tree he jumped from branch to branch quit easily before he reached the top sat and swung his legs.

Leaning against the bark he smiled contently, "Ah, I sure am gonna miss this place" he whispered as the soft breeze ruffled his dark blue hair and he relaxed and even prepared to doze off.

"Kitou Abarai!" a man exclaimed from below him. His tone clearly irrtated. The man waited for a response before crying again to his student. "Abarai!" he exclaimed before the blue-haired adolescent jumped up from his position leaning against the oak of the tree, almost falling off.

"Huh? Oh! Mr. Roseman!" Kitou exclaimed as he jumped down from the tree, stumbling forward two steps before regaining his balance. He looked up at him, his face monotone and unreadable as it usually when he wasn't talking to good friends. "Did you call sir?" he asked formally, resisting the temptastion to c**k a brow.

"We let you off school early to pack because the school is departing," the man paused and glanced at his watch, "In less then half an hour. Now hurry up pack up and get you're lazy behind to the buses!" the middle-aged man huffed before Kitou nodded and turned, beginning to walk away. He didn't have much to pack afterall. He had already begun last night and he really didn't have much to bring anyways. Just three shirts, a few pairs of jeans. A few sweaters and the school supplies which he didn't need to pack for the retreat. As he reached his dorm, most of the students had already made their way towards the bu, except two of his friends who were waiting for him.

"Hey man. Way late," said Paul, as he feigned annoyance before grinning at his friend. Kitou grinned in return.

"Yea, sorry Paul but you're not gonna find what you're looking for. Girls aren't going to Sunset Beach," Kitou teased smirking. Paul coughed and blushed, embarassed before laughing sarcastically.

"Yeah yeah. This is the last time we wait for you," he replied rolling his eyes. Kitou walked inside, grabbed his things and the last two sweaters which he had yet jammed into his suitcase and walked back out to his friends.

"Shall we go?" he asked, not hiding his excitement.

As the three of the teens exited the dorm rooms, Paul nudged his friend teasingly. "Hey Paul... You never told us before. What kind of girl are you on the look out for anyways?" he asked, a playful smile curved across his lips.

"Ah, what? he stammered, startled, "Why this all of a sudden?" he asked. Taken a back, his walking ceased for a few moments before he continued to drag his worn suitcase behind him.

"Aw c'mon man! I bet you were a total ladies man in your old school. I mean you're smart, funny and athletic," continued his friends listing the traits off with his fingers. Though, in truth he wasn't. He never had enough to courage to talk to any girl he was ever infatuated with, and when he had tried, his words came out too quickly and uncomprehendable.

"Ah... No not really. I mean, every girl I liked. I never really had the guts to talk to," he replied nervously, scratching the back of his head. "But, if you really want to know. A girl who's innocent and cute. One who's fun to tease," he said a small smile playing at his lips without him even knowing it.

"Awww! Our little Kitou is such a softy!" Paul jeered chuckling him and patting him on his back. To the left of Kitou stood Ichiru who was also trying to hold in a smirk.

Kitou glared at Paul "At least I don't go for the ones with big boobs and are too stupid to know you from Ichiru," he replied.

"Eh, who cares their hot?" replied Paul grinning. Kitou rolled his eyes. Why was he friends with him again? Well because Paul could actually be rather kind if he wanted to, and he wasn't too vain, he just wasn't good at in depth thinking. Well, he wasn't either but he didn't just go for the appearance.

"You are vain s**t man," Ichirou replied chuckling as he patted Paul on the back, who grinned in return.

"Right right, would you guys help me put this on the bus?" Kitou asked as they finally arrived before the yellow vehicle and he tried to shove his suitcase inside.

Paul roled his eyes and with one shove pushed it inside. "Your hopeless man."

"Har har," Kitou replied sticking out his tongue before the three of them boarded the bus.

"Finally, the three musketeers. Get seated we're leaving now," said Mr. Roseman as the three shoved their way to the back and sat down with their friends. And as the bus' wheels rolled over the gravel, songs were sung an laughter wrun merrily through the bus.
