I haven't heard anything new from most of you in a long time! It seems that just after the event, we all sort of...forgot our town allegiance. I'd like to change that. I want to bring us back to glory. I want us to remember who we are, where we come from, and what that means to us!
So come on, Durem! Come back to me! Yack in this guild like you mean it! Show me the spirit you showed me during the Water Fight and the Rejected Olympiad! Show me you aren't fairweather, event-only Duremites! Prove the red and black run through your veins during the off-season too!
Let's bring the life back to the guild again!

I fully admit I'm an offender in this. I hadn't posted between the beginning of my school year and the end of October. I could make excuses, but the fact of the matter was, I just didn't post.
I so want to change that. I love Durem, and I miss the team! biggrin

I really do wish that everyone hadn't wandered off. We could have done a reuniting for the halloween event - everyone been Durem Dark Elves. Or we could do a Christmas thing, I dunno. *shruG*

It would be really cool if we could do a guild-wide event for Christmas! It could attract members, too, if we did something like a lottery.

Hello everyone,
I want to apologize for my major lack of activity here on the forums. As the guild owner, I should really be stepping it up and try to be more active. However, very recently I have obtained a job and that has been sucking up my time in life outside of Gaia. Another thing draining my time is this other mmorpg that I just can't quit playing. For this, I really am sincerely sorry.
I think what I am going to do to make up my absence here I will host a Christmas Event for you guys and somehow arrange some prizes should I be able to draw up the funds. After the event, I am considering an idea proposing that I will step down as founder and guildmaster and hand over my current position to someone well worthy of it if I continue to play as an inactive member here. I have a particular person in mind and as the time nears the end of December, I shall speak with this person or whoever else I have in mind.
I hope there are no objections to this decision. If anyone would like to discuss this further, I'll be glad to talk about it here or via PMs. In the meantime, I think I will set up a new thread in the main forum about suggestions for an event and will check over all the forums for all the goodies I missed. :P
In the end, I hope I am forgiven and I hope that I can also provide everyone a nice event.

Bonus, the boss is back! heart Glad to see you're with us too. Honestly, you're not the only one of us who took off and came back - I did that too, I got swamped by school and was missing for a good two months. But this is good - this means there's now four of us active, at least, with a potential to draw in more! Durem wins!
I don't really see a need for you to step down entirely - this same thing happened in another guild I am part of, and the owner didn't drop all the way down, just to crew. At worst, I think you should do that. Don't give up on leadership, just step to a less expansive leadership role. 3nodding After all, you ARE going to try for a good Christmas event, which is more than any of us have done.
In regards to the event, a lottery is a good start - or maybe a Christmas guild-wide 'item hunt'; we can go back to old posts and edit in images...whoever finds the most of them first wins? I dunno. I guess we'll see what ideas come about from the thread!

And omg, I love your event idea, the finding the images. Or scavenger hunt also in houses or something, I don't know. We have plenty of time to decide what to do. (:
