This has been on my mind for a while and I've been wanting to bring it up.
Gaia has been making it easier to access more and more features of gaia. Such as notifications for comments on your profile, putting the map of gaia on the right hand side of the screen, GIM, etc.
The guilds have been neglected.
You must admit, if nothing else, that the guilds have been neglected a tad too much. They havn't even bothered to update the thread or post styles here.
I can understand why they wouldn't, don't get me wrong. Many people have PAGES AND PAGES of guilds they NEVER want to keep up with or have anything to do with anymore but want it there 'just in case'
HOWEVER what happens to those of us who WANT to keep up with our guild? Could there be a setting where you can favorite some of the guild threads? Maybe get updates from the higher-ups in the guild? Something.
Do you think there is anything we can do about this? Start a petition, ask a mod, etc?

I am not sure that there is anything that we can do about it. The admins will get to the guilds whenever it suits them, and if that never happens, then... We will just be out of luck.
Though, I do agree that the guilds have been a bit neglected.

I personaly think that the guilds need to left alone. It's that bit of Gaia that hasn't changed much (i say much for a reason) since i joined. Everything else has changed on gaia and to me, it's made it suck-ish...
The guilds have been changed up tho.. They took out the Captains guild which really helped me with my guild, but now that it's gone, my guild has been dieing... They have also changed the heading for the guild forum and guild home (if you clicked to get here, you shuld have noticed by now..if not, look)

Well, I'm not talking a TOTAL overhaul. I'm saying the way gaia has evolved the guilds have been left in it's own little corner, cut off from the rest of it.
Ok, so now you get notices when someone comments on your profile. I think we should have some way of knowing what's happening in our guild, you know? Intergrade it a bit. (sp)

From the talk i am having with a few people the guilds are slowly making a come bake, ok i know this topic or thread should have been left alone but hopefully more and more people can return to this guild so we can all be a family again in a nice happy home.
