Just a little announcement to say that even though Gaia no longer enforces it's PG 13 ruling, Leekozri does.
It's not that I want to cripple your creativity it's because there is no way I can guarantee you aren't rping with a 13 year old or younger. You may not think your RP is intense or that any real feeling is behind it, but that does not mean that your RP partner feels the same way. This is especially true for young girls just discovering more complex feelings.
Please show restraint when RPing, anything cyber like in nature will result in immediate beatings reprimanding.
Now that aside I'd like to describe that I feel fits fine in the PG 13 rating.
Have you seen Harry Potter? Lord of the Rings? or even Pan's Labyrinth? I would permit contents like that in a PG 13 rating. (I am aware what Pan is rated but at the same time if your doing a scarier RP eventually the person participating who is scared will say something)
Now do you know movies like Cold Mountain? where in the middle of the story there is a pretty graphic sex scene? That is not allowed. You can hint at romantic encounters but by no means go into detail about any sex.
This is to protect those who are still influential in their stronger emotions. Online relationships can be hard on people as the line between real and strictly story telling emotions can be blurry.
Please be considerate when you RP and think about the potential effect your typed actions may have on the person on the other side of the monitor responding to you.
If someone is harassing you for personal information, your phone number, to "mature RP", or upload images of yourself, please feel free to contact me. I am here to help, and don't want ANYONE to be taken advantage of, especially not in any potentially dangerous way. This is honestly something moderators should handle, but right now Gaia is encouraging a lot of that behavior...
If at anytime you feel an RP becomes "Real" for you please take a step back and walk away for a couple weeks. Remember that relationships you feel between characters, you may also want to talk to your RP partner about this if the feelings don't subside.
