Here's the skinny, I need some good brushes for Photoshop and my search is a bit hard for them. I'm looking for brushes that are good for shading and good for making backgrounds.

Well, for shading, you don't really need brushes. Just use the burn tool, or anotehr layer with a darker color, and a different blend.
I find that any brush is good for a background - It's just the way it's used that counts. I'll find some of my favourite ones, and post them up here after school ;3

 Actually, I used the smudge tool, not the burn tool. I'm just asking for different kinds of brushes because I want to see how I can make a transition between shades when I shade my flat colors.
