Right, so im doing the shadowseer hunt + i want to kill luxolid or whatever so i can get the staff of magi, HOWEVER. I cannot seem to get any of the spheres that allow me to descend deeper into the pharos. Im at the part where i go off to stop vayne, but first i wanna get tournesol, wyrmhero, zodiac spear / escutcheon, and Sagittarius bow (Its annoying to get XO).
so is all hope lost? or have i not completed a necesarry objective?

Magick pot. Throw an elixer at it before you hit it. If you must, turn off your gambits before approaching it. If you accidentally hit it, run fast. Also, steal your elixer back from it before you kill it. It drops ethers. ^^ Hope that helps.
