When riding english do you have to use a saddle pad?

Yeah, you do.
Although it's not uncommon for people to use numnahs, which are saddlepads shaped like saddles, so you can't actually see them. :3

Even though I haven't ridden with my new English Saddle and Bridle yet, luckilly my mom bought me an English Pad to be on the safe side. 4laugh

Speaking of Saddles I had this cool but weird dream about horses and this guy that just bought himself a beautiful black horse with a blaze was riding the horse bareback and the Saddle was tied around the horse's neck which was weird. sweatdrop

lol sounds like a, um interesting dream. btw when riding english you always use a saddle blanket lol, my friend tryed riding without one and it hurt her horses back and rubbed it raw, not good for her horse and she couldnt ride for like 3 weeks
