An ancient arena that has existed since subspace began, it is an amazing structure, made only for combat. This is one of the only places a person can truly die instead of just turning into a trophy.

Zylo stepped into the arena calmly behind Alzar, the portal closed behind them and the arena locked itself, only the winner could leave this place. "Now we fight, and only one of us leaves." ((Now for epic Music))

Zylo rolled his neck and gazed calmly from under his hood at Alzar, "Come then."

(lol, and wow thats a coincidence, i had been thinking on basing X's new look a bit on Sephiroth XD)
"Gladly." Alzar said, then sent all his chains at Zylo.

A green sword slid from Zylo's cape and he grabbed it, moving immediately into a spinning dancing combat form, his blade darting around to deflect the chains.
((Dude, I'm sorry to say this but X doesn't look very....paladin...y))

(i know... when i made the pic, i had samurai in mind, then i changed my mind as i was making the profile and changed it to paladin... im too lazy to go back and change the avi)
The chains kept coming, along with tons more coming from the ground.
(lol, and i can actually imagine this in a FF or KH game... its probably the music XD)

(lol, i might make one tomorrow if i get on early enough... i know Paladin's are supposed to be armored behemoths, but i was thinking more just lightly armored, so he would still be agile...)
The chains continued to attack as the whip wrapped around Alzar's chest and neck began to glow.

Zylo's sword slashed suddenly, leaving trails of green flames as the chains shattered, "Come and fight me face to face instead of using your powers to sit there and stay away from harm."

Alzar suddenly dissappeared and reappeared behind Zylo. He wrapped the chains around Zylo and slammed him into the ground with enough force to break reinforced steel.

Zylo smiled and sank through the floor, he wasn't completely unaffected though, he could feel a small slash in his side from a stone he had missed. Zylo smiled as his sword arced out of the ground, slashing at Alzar's back, trails of green flame in it's wake. ((Guess what, got bored  ))

(lol, cool, though can you change the eyes? sorry, but X is supposed to be Nerd's double in a way right now, so skin and eye color are important... it's part of a plot-twist i have for the future...)
Alzar landed on his feet as the wound began to heal.

Zylo rose from the ground, sword in hand as green flames flared around his wound and the flesh healed, "This could take a while." ((Ok:  better?))
