INTRO
Ah, welcome kigurumin and kigurumi enthusiasts! maeeileenii and I, Noxin, created this guild to better inform anyone out there who wants to see exactly what owning kigurumi is all about! Here's our basic, little explanation of kigurumi.

What Are Kigurumi?
As far as what kigurumi are, I'm just going to cheat and reference/quote part of the Wikipedia article that features them.

"Kigurumi (着ぐるみ, Kigurumi?) is the Japanese name for costumed animal characters. The name comes from the Japanese term
(着る – kiru: to wear) and (ぬいぐるみ – nui'gurumi': stuffed toy ~)....Full-body animal pajama with hoods or hats styled after
animals. " People who own and wear kigurumi are referred to as 'kigurumin'.
There are many many different kigurumi: animals, characters, etc. The list of known kigurumi is featured further down this page, but not all of them have pictures or hyperlinks yet.
Oh, and just so we're clear, THIS GUILD IS NOT FOR ANIMEGAO/ANIMEKAO/DOLLING, FURSUITING, OR ZENTAI. I don't mind if you do/ have any of them, I would just like to make clear that this guild's focus isn't any of those.
That being said, you don't have to chat about kigurumi 24/7 in the guild’s threads n’ forums. emotion_sweatdrop Just try to start your topic in the right forum.
--A Short 'Glossary--
Kigu- Simply a shortened version of the word Kigurumi.
Kigurumi- The disguise PJs we all know and love. Also, the plural is the same as the singular, just like the English word 'fish'.
Kigurumin- Person/people who wear kigurumi. This, too, has the same singular and plural form, as one doesn't add an 's' for pluralization in Japanese.

So What Is the guild for?
Chillaxin' (in your kigu, maybe), talking (about kigu, probably), sharing pictures (preferably of you n' your kigu), telling/finding out where & how to buy kigurumi, and pretty much anything else you feel like doing. C:
As mentioned earlier, you can ask about the purchasing process, courier services, how to launder your kigu, where the cheapest ones are, where the ones that are out of stock are, if certain ones exist, etc. One of the mods, captains, or regulars will answer your question(s) in a polite and timely manner. : biggrin:
There will likely always be someone who can help you out somehow.
