In part 1, We saw how Duncan was holding up since the game ended. Let's see what Courtney has been up to! (another thing I want to run by you: Last time I said Duncan won. I am also gonna put that he and Heather were in the final two. Again, if this never happens in the show, don't bug me about it. It's just for the story)
Courtney, dressed in her yellow and pink daisy P.J.'s, carried her bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream to the living room. She grabbed the remote control from the glass coffee table and sat criss-cross on the couch. *click* She turned on the T.V. and started flipping through a few of the channels. Finally after seeing most of the channels were on commercial break, she gave up and went to the T.V. guide channel to try and find something decent to watch. After a few minutes of watching the scrolling channels, something caught her eye. "Channel 24. Looks like I'm just in time to catch the ending, too." Courtney said to herself. She pressed the buttons and it instantly flipped to the desired channel.
Chris McClean's voice filled the living room, "The challenge is over. You two have made it to the final two, but only one of you will go home with the grand prize of $10,000. And the winner is.......................................... Duncan."
"Awesome! I won? Sweet! WHOOOOOT!!! said Duncan.
Courtney remembered her reaction when she saw the finally for the first time:
"Hurry up! Hurry up! It'll be on any minute!" said Courtney excitedly.
"Alright! Hold your horses Court." said Tasha, one of Courtney friends. Courtney was having a sleep over with her friends that night. "Sheesh, you really want that Duncan boy to win, huh?"
Courtney's eyes widened, "Pft! No! Why should I care if he wins or not? Pft! Yeah right! Pft!"
"I've got two reasons why we think you do care." said Lisa, another one of Courtney's friends, "One, we saw you lip locking on T.V. And two, you just said 'Pft!' three times. You always do that when you lie."
"Pft! Yeah right! Pft! I so do not!........ Pft!"
The girls burst out in laughter. Then Courtney burst out, "Hey it's starting!"
"Welcome one and all to the Finally of Total Drama Island!" said Chris from the T.V., "We now have two contestants left: Heather and Duncan. Let's go see what their up to!"
Chris found Heather and asked, "Heather. You're here in the final two. All this time, you were constantly the favorite to leave. How'd you make it?"
Heather said, "It's all about knowing how to play the game as well as the people playing the game. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take a shower before the next challenge."
"Hey Chris." said Duncan as he walked into the shot, "What's our challenge?"
"You'll find out. So, how do you think you made it to the final two?"
"Pft! I dunno." said Duncan, shoving his hands in his pockets, "I guess I just didn't wanna go home. Trust me. If you knew the kind of people I have to live with, you'd know why!"
"I hear ya, dude. Let's get this party started!"
Courtney didn't really remember how the challenge went, or even what the challenge was! She was too busy thinking about that night when she and Duncan kissed. But she did remember the campfire ceremony with the utmost clarity:
"Oh, boy! This is so exciting!" said Courtney. Then she regain her composer and said, "Not that I care."
"And the winner is......................Duncan"
"Awesome! I won? Sweet! WHOOOOOOOT!
"THAT"S NOT FAIR! THIS GAME IS TOTALLY FIXED. AUUUGGGGHHHH!!!" exclaimed Heather.
"AHHHHH! HE WON! HE WON! HE WON!" cried Courtney in delight, "Yes! I knew you would win Duncan! YEEEEEEEEESSSSSS!" Then Courtney realized what she was doing as she looked at the "I-told-you-so" looks on her friends' faces.
"Uh.......Uh....... I'm just happy......happy that Heather didn't win. She was a real jerk, you know?"
"Yeah." said Tasha sarcastically, "That's why your happy."
"Oh, whatever. I know what's true." said Courtney as she redirected her attention to the T.V.
"Yeah." said Courtney to herself, "We sure had some wild times Duncan"
*BAMM* *BAMM* BAMM* "Courtney! Let me in!"
Courtney recognized the voice, "No! Go away!"
*BAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMMBAMM*
"YOU BETTER LET ME IN RIGHT NOW!"
"Fine, Drake! I'll let you in!"
Drake was Courtney's boyfriend before she left for Total Drama Island. However, Drake broke up with her the day before her departure.
Courtney opened the door and Drake stormed inside so fast, he nearly ran poor Courtney over.
"What do you want Drake?"
"Well. I thought I would come over so you could beg for me to take you back."
Courtney became angry and slapped Drake in the face. "How dare you!" she said, "Why would I want a slob like you back?"
Drake looked Courtney straight into the eyes and said, "Listen up, princess. I'm gonna tell you a few things about you're little boyfriend, Duncan. He's just won $10,000 dollars. He doesn't care about you anymore."
"That's not true." said Courtney firmly, "Now get out!"
"Fine." said Drake as he turned to leave, "But just remember, he doesn't need you anymore!"
