Completion of prompts does not guarantee a Legendary, as only one to three will be selected, but completing all prompts will mean that you can skip the selection process of receiving a Legendary when you have completed all other requisites.
Your Kimeti must be foal/filly or older to be considered for Legendary status. Foal/fillies will progress directly to Legendary if they have not grown to adult by the time the process is over. If this happens, the regular adult image will be issued as well, so that you have all stages.
