Home to the Hoshigaki Clan of Kirigakure. This clan is credited mainly for its deceased member Hoshigaki, Kisame, who was one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, and also a member of Akatsuki. After Kisame's display of swordsmanship, the entire Hoshigaki Clan has made the sword a way of life. Combining a samurai-like life style with their mastery of Kirigakure's Suiton Jutsu, the clan has proven to be extremely powerful. Because of their shark-like anatomy, this clan is believed to be a lesser evolved version of the Sakana Clan of Takigakure. These two clans often compete in contests of Suiton Jutsu.
