Pokemon: Aura of Darkness In the shadows of the dawn light, a stranger garbed in black clothing slipped in unseen through a set of double doors to an old, rundown, abandoned building. A black cap kept the stranger's long blond hair concealed, and their eyes out of view. Moving aside a secret passage door, the light from inside filtered out down on the stranger, revealing a girlish face. Not one of the other black clothed strangers seemed to notice it. Walking swiftly down a long hallway, she headed down to avoid unwanted attention, and the stranger came to a large door and stepped inside. Beyond the door were many large tanks containing Pokémon that emitted a strange dark aura unseen by normal people. Two more black strangers were chatting along with a blue-haired female scientist. One of them turned around and noticed the blond haired stranger “What brings you here?” He asked with a rough voice. “Master Giovanni sent me here to bring some of the experiments to him.” The blond haired stranger replied in an unusually husky tone. The man nodded and motioned for the scientist to do so. Reluctantly, the scientist gritted her teeth and rolled out a cart with a few cages on it with several Pokémon within them. Before the scientist had the chance to approach, the second black stranger walked up to the blond haired one. “What is your name? I haven’t seen you among our ranks before.” He interrogated. “Well um…” The blond haired stranger stuttered. Suddenly the second black stranger flicked off the blond hair cap, letting long thick blond hair fall upon her back. “Our cover's blown! Everyone attack!” She shouted, and around five more black clothed strangers burst from the shadows and the doorway. They summoned their Pokémon, and in a flurry, they had gathered up the caged Pokémon and were beginning to flee. Meanwhile, the scientist had taken advantage of the situation, slipped behind the lines of fire, and disappeared. In a feeble attempt to stop the intruders, the real black strangers released their Pokémon for attack, but at the same moment, the blond haired girl summoned a Blastoise. “Blastoise! Hydro pump!” A giant amount of water erupted out of the cannons on the back of the ferocious Pokémon, soaking the black strangers and their Pokémon. “Arya you must hurry!” someone called from behind her, “We need to get moving!” Arya returned her Pokémon and followed the group of escaping intruders. “Move! Hurry!” She shouted, and the group burst out of the large double doors and made a run for it, the caged Pokémon jarring around within their confinements. One of the black strangers attempted to follow, but he was stopped at the door by the scientist and her Pokemon. "You won't move any further! I'm done with this organization!" she confronted him angrily. "You want to save the Pokemon, right? GO!!" she yelled at Arya and her comrades. Arya nodded briskly and threw a small card at her. "Meet us there! We need all the help we can get," she called back and began retreating. “You won’t interfere with Team Rockets plans, Rena!!!” he shouted angrily at rebellious scientist. Rena caught the card adeptly and motioned for them to escape. "...You hold my Pokemon hostage and force me to work for you? And you expect me not to want to interfere? Quilava, use Smokescreen!" she commanded, and the blue and cream colored Pokemon ignited up the spots on its back and blew black smoke out of its mouth. "Hurry, go!" she repeated as she herself fled and returned her Pokemon to their balls in a streak of red light.

Introduction Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the the Kanto Region. The threat of Shadow Pokemon in the Orre region has been eliminated, but the origin of the Shadow Pokemon Project wasn't in Orre or created by Cipher. As Team Rocket tested with Mewtwo, they tested with other Pokemon as well. Professor Nanba's Rage Machine in Johto was a failure. Professor Sebastian's radio tower at Lake Rage failed, too. However, another team of scientists headed by Professor Rena have successfully mass produced Shadow Pokemon: aggressive Pokemon that emit a strange, dark aura unseen by most have had their hearts artificially closed. Shadow Pokemon cannot level up, evolve, be given nicknames, and they will occasionally fall into fits of fury called Hyper Mode. In Hyper Mode, a Pokemon will have an increased damage output at the cost of significantly shortening its life. As the Shadow Pokemon grows closer to its Trainer, it will go into Hyper Mode more frequently. Calling the Pokemon out from Hyper Mode will allow the Pokemon to revert back to normal, somewhat, and grows closer to the Trainer. However, breaking the seal on its emotions is very hard to do, but rumor is that there's a place in Johto... A group of Pokemon enthusiasts called the Anti-Shadow Defense Force, also known as ASDF, have been tracking down the Shadow Pokemon. Professor Rena betrayed Team Rocket and is striving to save these Pokemon that she was forced to create. She and Commander Arya have been looking for Trainers to train and nurture these Pokemon so that one day they may revert back to normalcy. However, many of these Pokemon are in Rocket possession, and they're out for revenge... Hierarchy Ranking system from highest to lowest.

Bio: From a young age, Rena was always regarded as a genius, having gone through the entirety of Olivine's Pokemon Academy's courses and completing college within one year at the age of 14. She realized her dream of entering Silph Co. at the age of 15. She had always admired this company for their research and development of products that benefit both Pokemon and their Trainers. One day, she had the day off from work and traveled to Viridian City and witnessed a Pokemon battle between a young boy and a seedy-looking man and saw a strange-colored aura emitting from the man's Pokemon. When she asked the man about the aura, his Team Rocket buddies that were hiding stole the boy's Pokemon and kidnapped her. When they looked through her belongings and discovered that she was a Silph Co. scientist, they held her Pokemon hostage and forced her to shut up and help them with their Shadow Pokemon Project. When Arya infiltrated the lab, she escaped with her Pokemon and stole a few Poke Balls containing the remaining Shadow Pokemon that haven't vanished, hoping to save their hearts. After joining ASDF, Rena cut her long hair and swapped her contacts for glasses to avoid being found by Team Rocket. She's developed technologies that will help Trainers with their Shadow Pokemon. She's currently trying to look into various sources from myths and legends all around the world to develop a machine that will have the Shadow Pokemon revert back to their old selves. Every time a Pokemon would fail her, she would either verbally or physically abuse it. Sometimes she would release it after getting fed up. Her mean streak eventually caught the attention of Team Rocket, and she was accepted as a grunt. After the infamous trio of Jessie, James, and Meowth were demoted, Vanessa, Richard, and Espeon rose to the top quickly and effectively. She oversaw Rena's work while she worked as a Rocket scientist; keeping her in line and threatening to hurt her Pokemon. The two share a mutual hatred and she's obviously plotting for revenge... She is one of Giovanni's most trusted members. Occupation: ASDF Cadet Bio: Anthony (Although he's occasionally called Andy because of his middle name, Andrew. [xD]) was born in a poor family who lived month-to-month just by getting by. 'Andy' frequently liked to go outside and play with the Pokémon that lived in the surrounding forest. His father saved up one year and for his 8th birthday bought him a Pokéball (Which should show how much poverty they lived in, considering Pokéballs are only 200 at most). Andy cherished this ball and used it on a Growlithe that he usually played with. He later caught a Gible during a mining trip with his father, and also caught a Bellsprout the following year. Andy admires the ASDF for their work to help protect Pokémon, but reluctant to join because some pretty harsh things happen to members who are known publicly (Such as their houses being vandalized by Rockets, etc.). Richard was put up for adoption but was never adopted because he was by far the most violent child in the orphanage. He often wandered around wondering why his parents were gone, and why it seemed like everyone else was happy but him. He decided to join Team Rocket to make the rest of the world suffer so they felt like he did. He was teamed up with Vanessa and instantly grew a smile, since they shared a lot of hatred. His personality became happier to offset her anger and balance the group, and they instantly rose to the top. Before they could attack him, however, a Ninetails had came in and drove them away, but just by watching it fight, he passed out from an overload of confusion. Later he woke up in a hospital, and believed that the Ninetails had brought him there. Ever since he wanted one, but they were hard to find. By age 15, for his birthday, it all changed. After being fired again from a job at a local poke-salon, a girl that was stuttering gave him the ball, saying happy birthday, and ran quickly, giggling. He skilled in the way of battle and has a tendency to forget to put his Pokemon back into their Pokeballs, to many businessmen's dismay. Lex is an avid supporter of Pokemon rights and cooperates with the Violet City Police Force and the Gym Leader, Falkner, in his hometown often to keep the peace in town. However, ASDF sends him all over Kanto and Johto to stand guard and watch for Team Rocket's movements. He is usually seen with his Xatu perched on his shoulder. His best friend and companion Blue had grown up together and shared an equal hate towards Team Rocket for being weak and even more untrustworthy than he himself. Eventually Silver and Blue were hunted down and kidnapped due to their potential. They both eventually escaped and went on with their lives, having never seen each other since. When he was ten he ventured into New Bark Town, stealing his Totodile from Professor Elm. It was during his escape that he met Gold, and decided to get stronger and be one of the world's greatest trainers. He is unaware of this, but he is also the son of Giovanni. More than one person can have a Pokemon at the same stage as long as the person who already has the Pokemon/(Pre)Evolved form agrees and either SureinDragon or aznanniec approve. Kage just boarded the train from his home in Golden Rod City to Saffaron City. it was going to be a long trip so he took out his Pokegear and tuned into the radio. he then heard something about resulting in Viridian City being closed off. 'This here is kanto news; we have big news,
Viridian City and Pallet Town have been closed off to everyone. Do to a strange explosion in Viridian, police have evacuated both areas. Kage didnt look to concerened, he was thinking about a starter pokemon and what he was gong to get. Prof. Elm didnt have the pokemon he had wanted and Now pallet town where Prof. Oak is is Closed off, he has to get one himself. After a few hours of riding, kage steped off the train into the bright sunlight. he looked around and wondered where he should go first.

Molly sat impatiantly on a park bench in Saffaron City, she tapped her foot in annoyance to get somones attention. After finaly waiting for long enough, she stood up and barged into the middle of a group of ASDF members desscusing the recent explosion in Viridian. "What are we standing around for! We should be over there beating the crap outta those Team Rocket thugs!" She yelled.
Arya rubbed her tempals after listening to Mollys ranting, as she always did. "I have told you plenty of times, Team Rocket are useing the explosion as a decoy, there not really there!" She stated once more. "All our recoursces tell us there somewhere near Saffaron City!"
"Yah? Well, I dont see any Team Rocket here, do you?" Molly replied angrily.
"Ok then, why dont you go look for more leads then?" She inquired, anything to get Molly out of her hair.
Molly got really angry at that last sentence. "I dont have to do what you say!" she shouted, and stormed off "I can do what I want!" she mumbled as she went off in search of new leads.

She questioned many ppl about Team Rocket, but no one had any useful information. When she came across a boy who looked exceptionaly bored. Molly walked up to the boy and asked "Hey! You dont know anything about Team Rocket do yah?" she seemed to shout, she was clearly annoyed with her lack of information she had gatherd.

"WHAT!?!" Mollys mood suddenly went from bad to worse. She quickly slipped out in front of him and blocked his path. "You wanna piss me off some more, punk?" She balled one of her hands into a fist, and used her other hand to pull out a pokeball, "Fine, lets settle this with a pokemon battle, shall we? You look like a trainer." Molly knew she would have gotten in trouble, if not by the police, but Arya if she hit somone agian.

Molly stood there in disbalef for a moment, then she examind the boy closely, and burst into laughter. "I-I get it now! You dont even have a pokemon, do you?" She nearly toppled over. "Useing big words to hide the fact that you dont have one." It wasent the fact that he dident have a pokemon that made her laugh so, it was how he tried to cover it up. Then her face suddenly got even brighter, and Molly called out her pokemon "Charmeleon! Go!" she shouted. In a burst of red light, the red-orange pokemon seemed to materilize out of thin air. "Meleon!" It cried. After her laughing stoped, she took in a deep breath "Ok, ok, I think I forgive you." She wisperd into her pokemons ear, and it dashed out in front of the boy.

"Looks kind of weak. I've seen better Magicarp." he turned around and gave a bored look at the girl. "Are you going to attack me with your pokemon? now that is really low. if you cant handle the true, then dont get in such situations. i may not have a pokemon, but I know how to treat them. you on the opther hand can be questioned."

Molly wanted to laugh agian, but she could only let out a stupid giggle this time. "Attack you? Now who in the world would attack somone as defensless as you?" She called Charmeleon over agian, and patted its head. The fiery pokemon made a pleasureable growl. Its gonna work, if those idiots of Team Rocket are really here, then itll work! That was all Molly could think of at the moment. "Ah, week you say? Charmeleon is in a forgiving mood, but if he wasent, he would probably burn you to a crisp, with or withough my orders." She said, and Charmeleon just nodded.
