The Basic Story...
Welcome to Ridgeline Stables located in Beafort South Carolina(on the beach front)! Ridgline has been known as a competitive riding stable for many years, and hates to lose. But ever since the hurricane nothings been the same. Nothing was physically lost, but emotionally it seemed all was lost.
Friends out of houses, jobs, and lost family members. But even more the horses haven't been the same. They say that you ride with your emotions, but what if old emotions never seem to leave.
Old relationships are on the rocks, and no one seems to know what to do. Everything seems threatening, and hurtful. But not even phoenix tears, can heal a wound in the heart.

So wait what does this have to do with horses....? Well through my personal experience with horses, they have the best listening, and healing ability. This RP will be about the people and the loving affects there horses have on them. And how we realize how much we need our horses as much as we need people. Horses heal what we didn't even know was broken, but what happens when everything is shattered.

The Rules, and Guidelines...
1. This is meant to be an emotional RP. You may have dense story lines, you may have simple story lines. Either way, your choice.
2. This is a literate RP, I understand that we slip and make little mistakes thats fine.
3. Relationships are welcome...in fact there wanted. Nothing makes me feel better then well my boyfriend(girl)! No cybering, or anything explicit, if you think it may be inappropriate then don't post it! Remember Gaia has eleven year olds.
4. I don't care about swearing...I have a potty mouth myself,.
5. Remember to have respect for everyone.
6. Have fun!
7. Rules can be added at any time, if needed!
8. If you wish to have a relationship with another RP'er both party's must agree.
Note: For the time being, you may have one person character and up to three horses. This will change if the RP picks up. But having six people with three characters is very hard to keep track of. Plus its hard to jump into a story with that many characters.

Monica sat on the beach staring at the vast sun scape that lay in front of her. The sun was just raising above the horizon. Washed up beach wood lay scattered. She smiled as a prickly mussel rubbed against her back.
"Your lucky your a horse you know." She waited a moment as though she were waiting for a response. "The only thing you have to lose is a ribbon."
Monica stood stretching her sleepy mussels. Her blond hair blowing in her face.
"Lets go for a run." She quickly mounted Melody, using her halter and lead as a make-shift bridle. With a soft squeeze from her legs, and a quick kiss the world melted away.

Jade groomed Majesty in his stall with the body brush. Jade had plenty of thoughts in her head. Maybe if I go out for a ride Jade thought. She brushed a strand of hair away from her face with her free hand. The stallion stood still for the grooming and munched quietly on his hay.

Moni came troting back up to the barn, the morning sun was just starting to beat down on her shoulders. She quietly dismounted laughing at the sweat stain her thighs left on Melody's back.
"Hey Jade. I cleared most of the beach path. It was pretty clogged. But if you wanted to try and ride it, I don't see why you couldn't." Monica loved cooling down after a long ride on the beach path. But now it just seemed to prove the strength of the storm.

Hartari strummed a small tune as she took a hard brush and went over Bizzare's soft black pelt. He stood there and pulled at the hay net in his stall, chewing slowly. A soft nicker came from a stall over, Czar's crown out and looking in Bizzare's stall as much as possiable. His audits went up and rotated upon his thick dome as he saw Czar. Once she went over his body completely she used a soft brush than cleaned out his hooves. Before brushing his mane tresses and banner, walking out and put his grooming tools away. Grabbing Czar's grooming holder and
walking to her stall, she backed away from the stall door as Hartari came in. She walked over and started to groom her, after awhile she grabbed her lead rope and halter that was black and Bizzare had a black and white checkered one. She slipped it over Czar's head and over her listeners and hooked it, latching the lead rope to the loop under her chin. Coiling it and walking Czar out of her stall and outside. She just needed to excersise her a bit, maybe ride her in a bit.

Jade smiled at Monica. "Thanks, Moni." Jade said putting her body brush back into her grooming box, and reached for Majesty's tack outside his stall. Picking it up, Jade swung his saddle pad onto his back, along with his black saddle. Pulling him away from his hay, she finnaly got his bit and bridle into his mouth and over his ears. Patting Majesty she kissed his nose lightly.
