There are several guilds in huvandas.
S.O.T.B.E(SAviors of the blessed earth)-This is a guild of advanced hunters that respond to Sightings and rumors of shadow stalkers.
S.S.(Silver Stars)-This is a guild of fighters who compete in tornaments for the silver star statue.
Mages guild-This is a guild for advanced magic users. They act as resipiants for some of the higher level tasks sent in by priests.They also respond to uprisings of cults.
Theives guild- This is a guild for the most master theives. Though this is a "theives" guild it also has the most rules wich revolve around a theives honor. They usualy get requests from scholors and architects to enter ruins and other mysterious areas to retrieve treasure.
Swordsman guild-This is a guild for master swordsman. They have tornaments similar to the S.S. but compete for money.
Hunters guild- This is a guild for advanced hunters but they hunt Regular monsters that attack villages and the like.

Well my guy is part of S.O.T.B.E. so yeah. Technically the mage, theif, and hunter guilds are doing different things to save the world.

You could definitely fit more in...
Pirate's Guild, Ninja's Guild, Necromancer's Guild... Chef's Guild... To name a few.
