Ok, so everyone in this forum (I assume) has some degree of love for the Bat in whatever form (movie, comics, animated, etc.). I also note a great deal of Joker love (shudder). However, I'm just wondering who is everyone's fav secondary character, both "hero" and "villian".
For example, I enjoy the eye-candy that is the adult d**k Grayson, especially in the derrier-hugging costume he has in the comics and animated series as Nightwing.
He's not my only fav, but I'll start with him to get things going.

Hmmm, fave characters beside TDK's Joker... let me think about this a bit. sweatdrop
I would have to say the Penguin, I guess, as played by Burgess Meredith in the old 60's "Batman" TV show. He just has a certain comical flair and pomposity that makes him rather likable. I also like Gary Oldman as James Gordon, and Christian Bale is the best movie Batman so far (when he doesn't sound like a wounded carburetor because the postproduction people have mucked around with his voice. O_o; )
(And yes, I differentiate between different portrayals of different characters. I'm fussy that way.)
Plus, I've always kind of liked the concept of the "Two-Face" character, though I've never seen an attempt at depicting him that I've really been satisfied with. "The Dark Knight" comes the closest I would say to how he should be handled (at least it doesn't have me screaming bloody murder) although with Ledger's Joker around he gets kind of lost in the shuffle. (And there she goes about the Joker again, sigh.)
Finally, in general, I like pretty much all the "classic" villains-- Two-Face, Catwoman, Clayface, the Riddler, the Joker, the Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, the Penguin, etc. They're just all quirky and interesting when they're done right and I think may be a large part of the whole "Batman" franchise's appeal. 3nodding

sheeesh. I just noticed that Gaia edited Richard Grayson's nickname. Good grief. I understand why, but it's annoying.

I love TDK's portrayal of Two Face, and I also like a lot of the comic book versions of him. Not the version from Shummacher though.
In terms of good guys, I have to say Alfred, in all the movies and comics smile you've gotta love him. Plus I never liked Robin.

As a kid I liked that movie (goodness knows why-- I had some pretty lousy taste in my younger days) and I agree: the Two-Face in that film is way too over-the-top and ridiculous. I really think he needs to be handled a bit more seriously to work right. Hey, who doesn't love Alfred? Especially when he's being played by Michael Caine. biggrin And as for Robin, I don't really have any strong opinion of him one way or another, so long as people aren't going all weird about his relationship with Batman. Ai yi yi yi yi... rolleyes

They aren't exactly secondary characters, but I love Harely Quinn, Riddler, Poison Ivy, and Two Face. My favorite minor character would either be Tony Zucco or Blaze.

They count. I'm defining "secondary" in this sense as anyone besides Batman and the Joker.

I am personally very fond of the Gentleman Ghost. Top hat. (Must I say more..? xd ) ...I am also fond of the Penguin (more top hats and monocles <3), Harley Quinn *fan girl squeek*, Scarecrow, and the Creeper (because he made me laugh in Batman TAS when he was flirting with Harley).

Sometimes the word filters get pretty ridiculous. neutral Just set the word filters to minimal. d**k problem solved. wink And as Joker doesn't count as secondary, I'd have to go with the Riddler and Ra's al Ghul. The Riddler, because i have a small infatuation with riddles, and I like to try to solve them. Ra's al Ghul, the Head of the Demon, because I just like the idea of a world-domination villain that forces Batman to use more detective work than fighting ability; not many of his villains do that consistently, but Ra's does, because he's so different from everyone else.

(It was B:tAS, right, not The Adventures of Batman and Robin?) @Comic_B--k_Joker: That's a great reason to love Ra's al Ghul!
