Time is a weird thing, it exists and doesn't exist. We made up the measures hours, minutes seconds and while we use them to record things how did they come to be? Who decided on weeks and months? And who decided what year it is?
Contries are another thing that do and don't exist, there are no litteral lines sepreating this contry form that (for all we know the us/mexico boarder could be miles off.) nor alot sepearting this people form that but made up diffrences.
Cultere is another thing..but now I am rambling. I guess such is the way of a concensus reality.

well of course time exists.. but it isn't physical in any way. Of course there are those who say that time is directly related to thought itself.. where time wouldn't exist if there was no thought..
Where did the hours and minutes, months days and years come from? Well I think I remember hearing something a loooong time ago about the Romans first developing the calendars and thusly making up the months and years... I wouldn't be suprised if they also started using the hours and minutes to tell time because of their sun dials
And of course those are all related to the sun dial as well.. draw 4 lines in the shape of a + on the sun dial.. then draw an x.. then draw lines in between those ones and start numbering.. you get 12 numbers in total and tada you have a system of numbers to tell the time between night and day.
As for things like daylight savings time.. those were invented not long ago to give farmers more time to get to the market with certain things.. and most farmers hate it these days razz
Now about countries.. yeah they dont really "exist" but unfortunately we're still at the stage in evolution where people NEED to have ownership of absolutely everything to keep everyone organized. I there weren't countries, there wouldn't be cities.. and if there weren't cities, people would be wandering around and societies wouldn't be anywhere near as complex as they are today.
In the future, maybe we're all be one giant society.. no countries will exist.

The machine has come and it was forged by our hands and those of our fathers and their fathers before them and so on and on...... I get odd thoughts like that from time to time and like to share.
