the final boss of pikmin.... I just finished beating him...he's HARD scream
...any thoughts about his royal pain-in-the-a**-ness?

Got to be the biggest pain the first time around. I remember trying to kill him without bomb rocks (not being the type to read strategy guides), it was only until some random yellow with a bomb rock stunned him that I realized what I was supposed to do. blaugh

I remember the first time i beat him, i didn't know about the bomb rocks either. Lost hundreds of pikmin...just for a piggy bank. The when i played again i wanted to explore more and i found the bombrocks, and suddenly it was alot easier xd

When he jumped out the first time my soul flew out my nose,spun around the room,and went back in the other nostril.(Disgusting,yes,but that is what happened.)I never read strategy guides but if I didn't think pipes were good spots to hide yellow pikmin then I would have never learned there were bombs.
On a separate note:I know how to pick up bomb rocks on Pikmin 2 in 2-player battle if some people don't.

how do you get pikmin to pick up the bomb rocks in pikmin 2?

They got rid of the yellow Pikmin's bomb rocks in Pikmin 2, but there is an ability for the captains to pick up bomb rocks in multiplayer versus. To do it you just walk straight at the bomb rock until your captain decides to pick it up, then you can throw it...Other than that you can't carry bomb rocks in the second game.

He wasn't really hard so much that he was just time-consuming... Nonetheless I defeated him... I have every treasure in both games
