At the top of the Valley, on the rising mountanous ground between The Mountains and Northwood, lies Dwstein. Dwstein serves as a resting spot for many travellers who come from the North of Emania to attempt to cross the mountains to get to the deserts, rather than the conventional crossing at the mountain pass towards the south. It is regarded by many as a safehaven from any drow wandeirng from the underdark, due to the joint prescence of Dwarves and Elves here.
Dwarves and Elves have long used Dwstein as a meeting point for trade, and it is here that the two often set aside their mutual dislike in the interest of money and military protection. The Dwarves cross down form the mountains and the Elves make the crossing from Northwood. Thus, when included with the human population of mostly travellers and farmers, it makes for a very varied atmosphere.
It is in Dwestein that travellers can buy Dwarvish and Elvish weapons. The weaponsmaster - a man by the name of Gregory - resides here. ~ Notices ~

[good plan. 3nodding ]
"We're here for training purposes, technically," Vence spoke first. " We're new to this part of the country, though. My name is Vence, and this is my friend, Felix." He was a little nervous. After all, how often does a trading town like this get people who were armed and potentially a threat? Well, the two of them knew they weren't going to do anything stupid, but who else knew that? He hoped it didn't show too much. At least his voice sounded a bit confident.
"I heard from some friends that we need to go through some sort of, ah, first-timer examination."

"Aye, you heard right. We'll need thsoe weapons registering for one." The dwarf with a red beard said and headed back to the gaurdhouse. "Come with us, and we'll get the paperwork sorted for you." The second dwarf said, the gruffness of his voice not matching his demenour - which was altogether friendly. "It's a precaution - we have so many different people in and out." Felix followe dhim to the guard house as anothr gaurd went and took their place. He'd never seen dwarves in the flesh before, and while they were indeed short and hairy, they werne't anything like he imagined them. he was quite impressed.
The gaurdouse was small with a table and some simple seats opposite it.The blonde-bearded second dwarf set about taking thier weapons off them for an examination while the red bearded dwarf pulled out a scroll and pen.
"Firstly- is he yours or his own person?" He asked Vence, nodding to Felix.

Vence followed as asked, taking in the scenery and details. The front gates were designed to be more like a fortress, but it looked non-threatening. Probably because these gaurds were the only ones of a few that were posted.
He handed him the two swords and his one dagger, as he answered the question.
"He's his own. I have a question about the weapons ordeal. Does magic count? I have a little bit, but I'm not exactly as skilled as I used to be."

"Ah." The dwarf said and produced anotehr scrol to take down Felix's details as well. "Magic,eh? I'll register that you're a magic user, other than that there's little you need to do. If someone ends up with a mule's face after a bar fight, it just means we'll be knocking at your door too." He chuckled. "Did that actually happen?" Felix asked, handing over his axe and staff. "Yes, an uppity elf madge took offense. Poor sod.." the blonde dwarf shook hsi head in amused disbelief. "She turne dhim back after he apologised. Took a few days though."

"Ah I am glad I caught you two before you left." Said a young man as he walked. "I See you are going through the useal interigation. Fear not I have their papers already filled out said the man as he aproched the Dwarves. He removed his expensive looking black shaded sun galsses. He handed the Dwarves the papers. "Youll find all their info signed by me and the govener." The man said as he waited.

Vence raised his eyebrows at the man's sudden appearance, the smirk on his face gone from the silly story.
"And who might you be? I don't think I recognise you." He glanced at the dwarf with the papers, curiosity written on his face as to what was on the papers.

The dwarf studied them carefully and grunted, nodding his head. "Seems to be in order."
Felix looked warily at the man, the same questions in his mind.

"'course." The dwarf handed them over. The blonde haired dwarf strained to look over Vence's shoulder, failing hopelessly and folded his arms with a grunt.

Vence scanned through both their papers, wondering who this man was and how he got this information. He handed the papers to the blonde-haired dwarf next to him, seeing how, in the corner of his eye, he was trying to see. He felt sort of bad for them; the dwarves were a short race, as he was told. They were a proud race, though, not to be insulted, especially about height.
He looked back to the man, waiting for an answer.

As the Blonde dwarf took the papaers and scanned them, Felix stepped behind him to read them over his head. Truly, in compariosn to the drow, there was little between the dwarves and some of the sorter drow in height. On average, many pure drow barely ever reached 5 foot tall, but they were in such proportion and held such grace that it seemed to all balance out somehow. The dwarves by comparison were so stocky their proportions seemed altogetehr thrown off, not asisted by their general width and the enlarged appearance the beards gave their heads.
"It looks...pretty much right." Felxi said. "Though they spelt my surnames worng." he said tapping at the attempt made to represent his family names. "How do they know all of this?"

"Ah yes I have not introduced my self. I am Rodha El-Cid. I am a diplomat slash Agent. I was told by someone who quite frankly I owe some favors too, to get you through this process as fast as possible." El-Cid said with a bow his voice sounded a little Russain although from the look of his skin color youd think he was hispanic.
