This is a huge dark forest. There are trees for miles and miles around. There are random lakes and rivers and ponds scattered about wherever.

Shigirii walked down to the side of a small river, taking her waterbag and filling it with the clear, sweet water. her eyes darting left and right, watching for any threats

*Aiyoku walks amonst the trees, looking around. she sees a huge, old tree and hoists herself up to the higher branches. she leans against the tree and surveys her surroundings*

Shigirii heard a slight rustling in the trees, she tensed and placed a hand on the hilt of her dagger, wincing slightly as the scar on her back pulled her shoulders

*Aiyoku sees the little stream and smiles to herself. then she spots Shigirii and gets tense*

silently, Shigirii dashes back off into the brush, her dark brown clothes blending in, she hadn't seen anyone, but that didn't mean they weren't there

Aiyoku watches her leave, then climbs back down the tree. she walks out into the little clearing a bit, one hand on her dagger just in case something attacks

Shigirii closes her eyes and tries to stop the memories, but they still come
the village priest, his breath smelling of beer, standing too close behind her
her mother, sobbing, watching helpless as a whip is raised above her daughter
gasping, she opens her eyes and dashes back to the river, plunging her face in to cool her heated face

Shigirii eyed her warily, she didn't seem to post a threat, but still, she didn't trust this person
