Craig was a man of handsome looks befitting a vampire. Short blond hair falling just below his ear and handsome blue eyes. Though they were covered partly by short glasses on his face. He wore elegant clothes, formal black pants and shoes, an elegant white shirt and even a tie. The only thing that didn't look as formal was his coat, just a red trench coat he came upon and fell instantly in love with it. In fact, it was his signature item, and he was rarely seen without it on, unless in special circumstances.

He pushed his glasses up on his face and smiled, revealing small pointed fangs. He was waiting for someone in the graveyard, someone who promised him that they'd actually go out and do something tonight. Jumping rooftops was a favorite activity, and they did it often. He only needed his partner to show up was all.

Her black hair that looked purple in the right light was tied into a ponytail tonight. She wore black army boots that made solid thumps on the ground as she walked, even on the dirt it made noise. Black pants and a Lolita looking gothic top, as well as a small pendant hung from her neck. Her black trench coat hung around her loosely and she noticed a vampire sitting on one of the gravestones in her graveyard, her home.

"You know, the dead don't always appreciate you sitting on their gravestones. I'm just glad the dead here aren't to picky. So long as you talk with them once in a while." Leaning against a headstone...or the lone tree nearer to the center of the graveyard was lots better. "Have you been waiting long for me?"

"Nope, not at all Kate," he said, sitting up and turning his head so that he could watch her approach. "But you are a little late, I was beginning to worry." He stood up and walked over to her and gave her a big hug. "Not that you ditched out of course, but that something happened to you!"

She sighed as he started to cling. Stupid vampire. She was used to it by now however. "I wasn't going to ditch, true, and you know better than to question something happen to me. You'd know, remember?" She held up her hand so he could see it, where the bite marks were underneath the pink fishnets on her arms. "And I'm not that weak. Nothing bad was going to happen to me. I was only in the bathroom after all Craig." She chuckled and put a hand on one of the arms currently around her. "Are you ready to go?"

Good, she wasn't trying to throw him into a headstone tonight. That was always a good sign. "I know you can take care of yourself, and I haven't forgotten about our bond." He released her from his embrace and sat back down another moment. "Doesn't mean I won't worry however."

He pushed a bit of hair behind his ear as he crossed one leg over the other with a grin. "I'm ready to go when you are Kate. Jumping the rooftops is a great way to get out and about for an evening."

She turned to look at him better, resting her hands on her hips as she did so. "Well then if you're ready to go we better get going no? The night is young, but it doesn't last forever." Craig could only be out until the sunrise after all, vampirism would do that to a person. Kind of like Cinderella. Except Midnight was perfect for him, 6 AM wasn't.

"And stop worrying so much, I took care of myself well enough LONG before I knew you." She laughed in a way that was a mix of creepy and unnerving. "But really, we should get going."

"Yeah, you're right," Craig said. "The night is young, and it calls to one's like us." He smiled and sort of jumped from his sitting position to one that was standing and adjusted his coat. "Where do you think we should end up tonight? On top of the museum? The library? Perhaps the court house? We could always go and bug Mark...maybe Sarah. If we get there early enough. I doubt they're sleeping yet."
PostPosted: Sun Oct 12, 2008 1:46 am

"I wouldn't ind the museum myself," she said. "There are a few spirits lingering around there I haven't said hello to in a while. Best to let Mark and Sarah get to bed at a decent hour. You've only been able to change my sleeping habits around pretty much from sleeping at night to the day." She started walking towards the edge of the cemetery.

"We shouldn't keep them up too late. Goodness knows Mark gets pissy when he hasn't slept enough," she said. Well, she got pissy as well, but Craig had already known that. The few times he'd tried to wake her up before she was ready he'd gotten a kick in the gut. Sometimes with her boots still on.

"Museum is always fun," he said, starting to follow after her. "Yeah, Mark does get rather upset if we keep him up all night." Oh, he knew about her not getting enough sleep. Many a memory of having the wind knocked out of him (in a figurative term, since he didn't really breathe) among other kicks he'd just as soon forget.

"I'm ready to go, lets head out," he said. He gave a short slightly teasing bow, beckoning her to lead the way. Once she headed out, he'd be quick to follow after.

She growled just a tad at his bow. He did that kind of stuff just to watch her reaction. She should know better by now not to react to it the way she did. Shrugging and letting out a long sigh, Kate ignored it after her initial growl, and headed more out of the graveyard. Whether he kept up with her or not she didn't care.

Rooftop jumping for the night was going to be a lot of fun. Usually was. Best way to enjoy a nice night.

The night had been very enjoyable, they sat on the museum roof for quite some time, just watching the world go by. When it came time for them to go, across the rooftops they had gone again, silently and quickly as they had gone before.

"Something came out of the cloak she'd been wearing. "Fallen wish?" she asked. It floated around her and nodded. "You followed me from the apartment." It nodded again. "Are you a dragon?" It nodded again.

The violin faded from her hands. "I left Gimpi and Biancamella at home...tried to leave you too, suppose the quiet not sweet smelling one was the one to follow." It nodded again and kissed her cheek. It blinked at her. "I look too sad, don't I?"

"Its all right. I'm... adjusting. For some reason...I can't... I can't feel the music here. My heart hasn't been in it, I haven't felt like singing. I know Sir Donovan wants to take me to a Karaoke bar, but I don't know if I can," she said. Chris hung her head and crossed her legs on the bench. Fallen Wish fell into her lap. "I don't feel it. The magic, the music...I can sing well enough...but I don't feel it. I think there's something wrong with me."

It looked up at her and cooed, and then started nuzzling closer to her. "Its silly...because here is my home now, isn't it? But its changed now. I suppose I've changed too. I've had to. If I want to live here...but...is here... really home anymore?" she asked this more to herself than to the Fallen Wish in her lap. "I can't make a living as a bard here. And working as a librarian...will only take me so far. I don't know what to do." She looked out across the lake. "
