The Shouken...The Bond
The Shouken were once a great clan who did what they could to rid the world of evil...but...they didn't do it alone. You see, as a Shouken, you were destined to share a partnership with one another person. It could be of the same or opposite sex, but whoever it was, they were bonded for life. The bonds were sacred. Once partnered, they were able to feel what the other was feeling. It was always a great joy when one would find their partner. When together, they were able to use special abilites that would aid them in fighting evil. However, just when all seemed good, there were a group of people who rebeled against The Shouken Way, thinking that their powers should be used to gain power around the world...to become one great nation that overpowered all others. They soon left the group and started their own, calling themselves the Dark Shouken. For many decades, the two groups battled until there was little left on both sides. Now, both groups are in hiding, hoping and waiting for the right moment to resurface again and to fight for what they believe in.
In Aisu's world, nothing seems to go right. Abandoned as a child, abused in the orphanage, and thrown out onto the streets, she quickly learned that she can depend on nobody but herself. She was alone in the world, and destined to be that way for the rest of her life...or so she thought....
Eve Hinamori had lived a life every kid had dreamed of. A huge mansion, attending the top academys, and parents who loved her dearly. She had everything, but she never took it for granted. She was a tough, independent kid who knew they you couldn't get anywhere is life without hard work. She could never be like the other spoiled and self-centered kids she went to school with. Her heart was soft and spirit strong.
Two children from two different worlds...yet both would soon be brought together to form one great power. The Power of the Shouken.
