Yep its everyones favorite bumbling mage ummm whats his name again.........i know it starts with an F ummm Fizzle....no Fizdazzle....no Fizban thats it. Now if I could only find my hat.

Yeah, Fizban is great. Half of the time he acts like he doesn't know what he's doing, but in the end, he meant to do those things because he's cool.. and old.. and smart like that. Plus he's Paladin(sp?)...isn't he? I think that's what it said in the books...

Ya he ended up doing what Reorx was trying to when he created the greygem.
By making himself immortal and therefore making his Takhisis immortal, he made the world balance and made neutrality the major force on Krynn.

Ah, Fizban, you are the second best mage in the books, IMO.
Great little character, I loved his interactions with Tas especially. I laughed out loud when he conjoured that little globe of light in the first book... and it was afraid of the dark.
I mean, I ask you; a ball of light that's afraid of the dark!

Wonderful, wonderful character. Wanted to give him a big hug!

I laughed out loud when he conjoured that little globe of light in the first book... and it was afraid of the dark. I mean, I ask you; a ball of light that's afraid of the dark! :shakes head: Wonderful, wonderful character. Wanted to give him a big hug! "No respect in the younger generation...His father...now there was a puffball!" I loved that part...especially Tas' last line of that scene... "Umm Fizban....your hat is on fire."

I know I've mentioned this to some of you before...but if you haven't seen Patrick Stewart's old SNL monologue about Star Trek, check it out... The way he did it makes me think that with a beard he'd be the perfect Fizban...
