For those of you who don't know, Mina is one of the more popular characters in the War of Souls Trilogy. At times, she seems to be the herione, but at other times, she seems to be the villain. There are times when you want to cheer for her, but other times when you fear her.

eek ... I don't know if I've read the War of Souls Trilogy yet... crying
I think it was the fact that everything she did, she did for what she believed in, for what was right and correct, and bringing the news of the One God to the people.
Of course, Takky tricked her, and everything she did in the name of righteousness was turned to eviiiil.
And she was loyal. When she found out her One God was evil, and was the cause of the devastation of Krynn, she turned around and stabbed the Elf Prince, loyal to her Goddess even with her Goddess gone. And then swearing revenge on the one who killed Takky...
That was just classy.

Perhaps you should white-text your posts when posting potential spoilers...It would be an awful shame to ruin the books for anyone.
[SPOILERS]I dislike Mina. Very much so. She represents religion gone bad, when you give yourseld so fully to your gods, there isn't anything left of you. She followed fanatically her so called 'One God,' and even when she discovered what a royal b*tch ol' Takki was, she didn't even have herself to fall back on; everything she was had been in the service of a lie. [END SPOILERS]

Honestly I love the twist that Margaret Weis did with Mina's identity in her current trilogy...Apparently, Mina is
a god of light who was tricked into believing she was mortal and into serving Takhisis
...I cant wait to see how she concludes that twist!

You'll enjoy them... The only characters who appear in it from the other books are Gerard uth Mondar, Jenna, and a brief Dalamar appearance in book 2. I know you'll love how Nuitari is written. He totally screws with Chemosh's head at the end of book 1.

I've not read them yet either. I read War of Souls, which I thought was horrible.
I didn't like Mina because she reminded me of too many people I've met in my own life that follow their faith with blind devotion and refuse to accept the fact that what they are doing may be wrong.
