i wrote this about a month after my boyfriend and i broke up i had a few notes and words floating in my head *shrug*
Our love, it seemed perfect
but there was just one thing
I was willing to get over it
but no, to you
it seemed were we simply just friends
why, oh why? Did you have to say “bye”?
But oh well, we no longer exist
but I have one thing to say!

wow... that's wonderfully expressive. but i won't knit pick, i'll just congratulate you. it take a lot to admit to those sort of emotions. and love is... strange like that. and while it lasts, there's nothing like it. some people go most of their live's not knowing what it's like, so be thankful that you've been able to experience it at such a young age. whether you know it or not, it's changed you. you've grown and become all the more sensitized because of it.
so here's a round of applause for you... for choosing to admit to these emotions and not making the mistake of choosing to forget--like it never happened.

i agree. it takes a lot of guts to admit this sort of thing. i just wish i could hear you sing it cause i would love to know the tune you had in mind while writing it... ^^;
