Or a random barn. lol. -isn't a people person- I use to work at a barn back in my home town, Jonesboro, AR. It wasn't the prettiest barn but it had horses. I cleaned 10-12 stalls each weekend and once in a while up to 16, cleaned water buckets(around 50 of them, there heavy when full), swept the halls and hayed and watered. v.v...I miss being around horses. Every time my boyfriend and I watch a movie with a horse in it I cry. -is pitiful- lol! Gosh, I'm bored." ___________________________________

And sometimes ill cut wood by the truckload and sell it, or sometimes just random odd-jobs like errands... Even though I dont even use the money i earn, lol... I just save it.... For what idk... maybe college... or a car...

I work for a company called HD Supply. I have a team of 17 people under me that I keep in line most of the time ( only when they are goofing off to much and the Director or manager of the department sees. Its ok but hey it keeps me in the habit of horses.
GL with your move to CA.

Im searching for jobs, hopefully about horses. I might move to a diffrent town but I dont mind, I hate my howntown!
Ive been working a lot in the weekends at my schools stable. hmmm, 2 person on 23 horses, 23 freezing waterbuckets in the stable, over 10 freezing waterbuckets in the meadows, over 15 of the horses were totally crazy, I was cleaning all of the 23 boxes 4 weekends (almost) in a row, 4*23 hooves with snowpacks in, 3*23 haysacks and it was snowstorm!! the horses couldnt be outside, they were freezing like sh!t (me to!!) the stable-chef wanted us to finish all this in 3-4 hours, max!! well, it was a hell but I got well paid XD

lol i feel your pain, at garlands there were about a max of four ppl doing all that about twice a week except there were about 50+ horses... But when Garland died he gave it to his nephew, and his nephew is pretty retarted, they're in knee deep manure in their stalls and you can see every bone in their body, and they get put in the same pastures which have about as much grass that you would find in a forest fire....
Argh... hes had it about a year... I stopped working there a little before Garland died and it has just went downhill, id like to go over and just clear it up, but its to much for a single person to do, plus i dont have the time... Id like to just take some of the ones that need some TLC, like biscuit the horse thats been there the longest and has a severly damaged eye...

Id like to just take some of the ones that need some TLC, like biscuit the horse thats been there the longest and has a severly damaged eye... You should report him. That's animal abuse. sad That's just the thing, I would but it wouldn't matter, i live in Lawrence County Ohio, and here they don't have anything to help horses, they have small kennels for stray small animals, but they can't help horses... its retarded... and its technically the same in surronding counties they have 1 or 2 but they are very small and don't travel. Even the Little Victories that rescue small animals rarely rescue, there are stray dogs and cats all over the place... Ugh.. it sucks.. And its pretty sad, Biscuit, the one with the badly damaged eye, years ago used to just have a cloudy eye that looked like it needed medical care, we pleaded and told, but they never did, now about a year or so later its swollen, slit, completely distorted, there is no possible way he will ever be able to see out of it ever agian, and it would have been a simple treatment of penicillin, or possibly some iodine, but it could have been stopped... Ill have to take some pictures the next time im out there to show you, its hard to explain... and its also sad that hes been there as long as i can remember, hes a Belgium, light brown with white socks, white mussel, and as sweet as can be... Like i said i wish i could just take him home..

Ughhh..That really makes me angry. If it were me I'd walk over there and tell that jerk off, then b***h to the police and then to who ever else that will listen. http://www.geocities.com/hchumanesociety/animalcruelty.html^You can report online there. Even though they may not be in Lawrence County they might be able to help. http://www.ohiospca.org/^That could be helpful to. Looks like they are in a tight bind at the moment though. Just trying to help. ^.^
