1. No Godmodding. This RP bar/resort is semi-literate. That means most of the characters in this RP are 'normal' humans/demons/cyborgs who can exist with a bit of imagination.
2. No quote towers- try to keep it at a 5-quote minimum
3. No cybering and please limit the make-out scenes. Just common courtesy, yes?
4. No disrespecting anyone or any of the RPs going on in this thread.
5. Don't violate ToS...
6. No killing- unless its a part of your RP, but make sure everyone knows.
7. If you're annoyed with someone just PM me and we'll see what I can do.
8. I, as "owner", reserve the right to add more rules as necessary to keep the peace... End of story.
Guidelines for Enforcing the Rules
1. Be courteous and tell them kindly not to break the rules. examples
1. Bumping - "Please don't bump"
2. Spamming- "Please stop spamming."
3. Being rude and disrespectful- "I don't understand where you're coming from, but what you're doing is rude and disrespectful. Please stop it."
3. If you were rude to them, you'll get one warning. After three warnings, you're banned.
4. Beware the anger of a patient man -Remember, being polite and courteous doesn't mean you're a sissy- it just means you're holding back a can of whoop-a** for when things really get down and dirty! You don't really wanna show all your big guns too early in 'battle'- but if you're polite first, we might have a chance of making this world a better place.

First Floor  Resort Status: Still destroyed, but a powerfully crafted illusion, near reality altering ability is in place. In short, rebuilt... though not so much on the technical scale.
Defensive Options: The Resort building and surrounding area's can't exactly defend themselves but if everything is an illusion, no real harm can come to the infrastructure, ne? Nice try anyways.
Second Floor:
-Rooms-
Amenities: Air conditioning, alarm clock radio, coffee/tea maker, direct dial phone with voice mail, electronic door locks, hair dryer, handicap accessible, iron/ironing board, jetted soaking tub, kitchenette, mini fridge, mini bar, modem/data port connection, pay-per view movies, remote controlled color cable flat screen TV, full vanity, wireless internet connection and just about everything else one might need on the more mundane side. Magical accommodations must be registered and licensed. As well limited supplies means, bring your own stuff.
Areas of Interest
1: 12 Stars Beach Resort: A grand marble estate that rests on a hill overlooking the bay.
2: Centuin Lighthouse: The only light to guide incoming ships. It is currently occupied.
3: Orau Volcano: The Resort's source of heat, fuel, and magic.
4: Zenlau Lake: A placid lake that mirrors the moon when it is full.
5: Licata Marshes: A lively bog with will-o-wisps and a secret underground G-Corp lab.
6: Mystery Island: The crossroads to dimensions. The island usually only accepts one visitor a night during certain occasions, however, due to a certain space/time rip near Durem, alternate universe, cross-over, and just about any other character can freely travel to the resort and back to their home dimensions.

Hiring! All job positions are open!!!
Mission: To create a safe, peaceful, casual thread for semi-literate RPers regardless of RP experience and RP identity. Disagreements will happen, but fighting is generally discouraged.
How this will work:
1. Read everything
2. Choose a job description you want to go with and fill out a character sheet.
3. PM the character sheet to ??? (Undecided)
4. ???'ll reply in 24 hours and tell you what to do from then on n__n
5. As the RP moves along, if ??? thinks you're doing a good job, you can be promoted to 'Manager,' 'Head Bartender,' or 'Head Bouncer,' even if those spots are already taken. Don't let it get to your head though.
-Job Descriptions-
Host/Hostess: You're going to be an RP bartender, cook, and waiter/waitress all at the same time. This is mostly an RP, not RL, and we need to have constant staff around who are able to greet and serve guests and regulars. Your character can be almost anything in this category, but here, your character's personality and attitude will matter the most. An RP resort-hotel would want sociable people who are courteous, kind, pleasing, and easy to talk to.
Bouncer: Your character is most likely a fighter like a pro-wrestler, ex-assassin, slayer, former military personnel, police officer, martial arts instructor/student, bounty hunter, gladiator, and so on. Yet, your job here would be to stop fights before they happen, break fights up when they do happen, and enforce the rules. Your character should also know some basic first aid in case fights get out of hand. When dealing with OOC fighting though, please refer to the guidelines under the rules post.
Entertainer: Your character could be a DJ, a musician, a singer, a comedian, a riddler, a poet, an animal trainer, a clown, an acrobat, a stunt double, and so on. Your character should be able to amuse and captivate the audience, touch people with your work, and mostly make them smile. OOC-wise, you can also post links to funny movie clips, music videos, and flash videos, but do this sparringly.
Anything Goes: These characters are multi-talented and can do just about every other job no one else would think about, but need to be done. So in a sense, they can be a bouncer, hostess, and entertainer all at the same time but they don't have to. In any case, they're most sensitive to the needs of the Resort and the RP and won't mind being a janitor, repairman, bouncer, cook, medic, etc., when needed. [b]Gaian Name:[/b]

What kind of RP bar is this? Semi-literate. It has a bit of a storyline but I don't care if you respond to it in paragraphs or one-liners. If you don't think you can keep up with it, just don't post.
What's the setting? Modern. People have mostly lost a sense of 'magic' about the world as it's given in to the age of logic, science, and technology. Yet, that doesn't mean Magic has stopped existing. While popular characters remain to be demons and vampires at large, we're also open to dragons, kitsunes, nekos, cyborgs, aliens, genies, wizards, angels, and so on.
Why is this place named '12 Stars'- aren't 5 stars the highest rating you can get? 12 stars = 12 zodiac signs, which was the original 'theme' of the bar. A long time ago, a sorcerer wished upon 12 shooting stars corresponding to the signs of the zodiac. His wish came true and brought disaster upon the world. This is the place he decided to settle in, and is now in the care of his granddaughter, Kolana Lysander.
Hey! Why does the picture of the Resort look familiar? I'm lazy. The picture of the estate is from Love Hina.
Ok! I have an idea for an RP- what should I do?? Stop and look around to see if there's an RP going on. If there isn't one go ahead, but if there is one, then try not to interfere (as in plop your story in there ignoring everyone else's posts). It gets confusing with too many storylines going on at the same time.
Is simply coming in to blow it up an RP? No...and no. Your character is not 'established' enough to blow it up without making us believe you're an a*****e who's just trolling. Trolling violates ToS. Trolling means posting inflammatory messages on the net. Inflammatory is a key word. That means if I get pissed OOC (which I will), you were trolling whether or not you intended to do that with your pathetic excuse at an RP. ...and when I get pissed, you can just consider yourself ******** in Egypt.
Where did the ban list go? Eh...don't need it. Dead men tell no tales, thus they have no names.
Why did you leave the old thread? To start all over again like we needed to...this is a 'fresh' RP. Bad things that happened in the past aren't welcome here.

Race: Human-Kitsune
Age: 25
Job: Manager
Character's Appearance: Kolana stands 5'1" and has normal body structure. Her bone structure, though small, is reminiscent of her Russian-Asian ancestry. So though petite and a little tan in fleshtone, she has the wonderful angular shoulders and a soft face with slightly prominent cheek bones. Her eyes are more Asian in ancestry so they're shaped like almonds. Her right eye is green and her left eye is red. She only has two other prominent markings: the array on her forehead symbolizing her purpose and ancestry, and a disgusting surgical scar over her heart.

Name: Legion Demon Allura
Race: Shape shifting... thing?
Age: Looks to be roughly 22 in human form
Job: Anything goes handyman
Character's Appearance: Roughly, 5' 10" Legion is at a fair height to do most work. There isn't much to his looks really, having long brown to black hair depending on the season and a rounded face. Unless in a fair mood, his brown eyes are glazed over with uncaring and slitted to almost a non-existent opening. Medium build, he isn't too scrawny but not exactly all muscle either. Pale, though not ghostly white, he's as toned as an average typical human. Aside from the basics of life, he has useless runes imprinted on his body as well as an X-scar on the upper half of his chest. His arm is demonically touched, coal black with long fingers and claws. He has a pair of fox ears and tail to boot.

-RP Updates- OOC note version ^^ Plot: The Resort is now a pile a rubble due to a recent battle- call it a boss battle if you will. Now, the last ones standing are faced with a the decision to stay or move on.
With the resort rebuilt now and the tides of time having passed... What is with this forgotten wasteland now?
