How about Higurashi [I can't remember the rest of the title, but it's the violent anime]
Oh, and I heard that there's a Tales of anime. =D;
I can't think of any others right off the bat to suggest.

Can we second titles?
If so, I second Higurashi no Naku Koro ni as well as Betterman.
Otherwise, I suggest Monster, Serial Experiments: Lain, and Gankutsuou.
EDIT: Howeverrrr I just realized that it's completely pointless to show just one episode of Higurashi as the general "hook" of the anime is within the first few episodes together... soo...

Good call on AMV Hell last meeting! Might I suggest a little Helsing one of these meetings ^_^? Or would that be too graphic, you think (remember though, you did show AMV Hell Mister "Straight and Narrow President" blaugh )?
