The dark blue male yawned as he stretched in a cat-like manner. As with any other day, the bothersome sun had shone upon his lids and stirred him awake. But this time the flash came not from the warm and welcoming solar rays, but from the whips of lightning cracking the dark sky apart. Apollyon's eyes widened as he observed, curious and apalled at the same time.
Rarely were there "bad" weather days around the plains which Apollyon called home, let alone lightning storms. A part of him was enraged, even, for how could such a trifle thing as lightning trespass upon his lands?

Arjuna walked across the plains. She was looking for company. Staring at her feet she plodded along, soon she heard thunder. She looked hopefully to the sky, she loved storms. Soon raindrops fell upon her purple fur and she sizzled at the contact. Smiling stupidly, she continued on in a better mood.
She traveled for a few hours, relishing the storm's contact upon her. She loved the smell of the rainy air. She started paying attention to her surroundings and noticed a blue foundling up ahead. Smiling even more she quickened her pace to get closer to her find. The foundling looked almost angry she noticed. Sighing she kept going closer. "Hello," she stated. My name is Arjuna. What's yours?." She was a nosy little bugger.

Apollyon spun around so quick upon hearing the noise, one might've sworn he was a bolt of lightning himself. With the same speed, he'd realized that she was quite peculiar indeed. The lightning came oh so dangerously close to her, it were almost as if she were one with the storm. "Apollyon..." He muttered, a dreamlike tone evident in his voice. His face melted into one of incomprehension, for how could such a Foundling exist?

Arjuna scuffed at the ground looking at the strange dark blue male. "What element are you?" She asked rudely. She sat upon her haunches, the lightening flickering around her, waiting for an answer.

"Pardon?" Apollyon's face scrunched up into further misunderstanding. How dare this female pad down his plains, right up to him, and ask such a preposterous question?
"Look, I don't know what game it is you're trying to play, but you'd better stop!" Sure, she was strange, beautiful, and mysterious, but he wouldn't put up with a blabbermouthed fool. Not only that, but she was being awfully rude. Apollyon didn't take well to rude Foundlings; at least when he was at the receiving end.

Arjuna growled at the Foundling. Around her, the lightening increased in speed. Well, you look like some stupid blueberry element to me. She scoffed, I was just asking. She was standing up now, glaring at Apollyon.

"See? You're much too rude." Apollyon spoke in a bored, ignorant voice, taking greater interest in the dirt his claws dug into. He looked up at the glowering Foundling, rolling his eyes, "You're still here." His expression changed to one of annoyance, as if her presence wasn't worthy of his. Obviously, Apollyon, being the self-proclaimed 'king' of his land, wouldn't acknowledge another's presence as joy-bringing.

"Uh, yeah I'm still here." Arjuna answered in a tone that meant 'DUH!'. Isn't like you own the place." She was settling down a bit now, the lighting receding slightly.

"As a matter of fact, yeah, I do own this place!" Apollyon noticed the sky clear just a bit when she settled and his frown grew deeper. "Not like you own the sky, either, so quit controlling it like that!" He himself knew that he was spouting nonsense, but he wanted to feel superior.

Arjuna scoffed at this and gave the boy a disbelieveing look. "It's not my fault that I'm a super cool lightening element!" She stomped a few feet closer.

"Well it's not my fault that you're intruding on my lands and I'm having to waste time kicking you out!" Apollyon closed the space left between them, teeth bared and anger boiling. He let out a warning snarl, then swiftly turned his head from her, circling to the right and away from her, so the distance was once again present. "What business have you in my lands?"

"Woah, Arjuna yelled loudly, whipping around towards him once more. You don't own any of this. The purple female stated loudly, crackling with energy once more. Did you mark it or something? She added, snorting.

Apollyon smirked, as if sympathetically, cocking his head to the side mockingly and making his forelock fall to the side. "It was my father's land before me. Therefore now, with his passing, it is mine." He made a noise not unlike a snort, rolling his eyes. What was with this Foundling? Most would've let him be by now, sulkily treading off of his land.

"Did he mark it then?" Arjuna questioned, smirking playfully. She was much more at ease now, settling upon her haunches in the long swaying grass of the meadow. Sniffing at the wildflowers, she glanced at Apollyon out of the corner of her eye to gauge his reaction.

"Excuse me?" Apollyon pawed at the ground, trying to get his anger out and into the soil. He began circling her, keeping eye contact where he could, "What are you doing here again?" There it was again, the sympathetic mockery in his voice stuck on like a climbing weed to the side of a cliff.
